My 11th book PUBLISHED and RELEASED, purchase paperback now at Amazon, other sites/retailers soon to follow, hardbound/ebook available within days. The follow-up to previous book thus entitled More Proems & Poems on the Peculiar Human ABILITY to REASON, Singular Human RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters...

Logically defined, Politics is the pursuit to influence and/or control political power, legal force, that is to say, the power thus force to manipulate and confiscate others' behavior and resource without their consent. The method to determine the use of power or force by democracy, oligarchy or tyranny matters not. The method to implement the use of power or force by communism, fascism or cronyism and their popular pacifier socialism matters not. For all are clashes between political prerogatives versus personal preferences, legal force versus human will, government taking liberties plural versus individuals exercising liberty singular.

Rather it is Ethics not Politics that desires freedom for oneself and all others thus a return to individual responsibility and risk. It is Ethics not Politics that seeks liberation from government's shackles and chains hung heavy upon everyone's person, preference, possession and property. And it is Ethics not Politics that insists the regard for one's own Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent on all matters, inseparably demands the respect for one's own Peculiar Human Ability to Reason on all matters. Politics is contrary even hostile to all such things.

To my daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren, who I love more than they know. It is my hope they someday will read this book when aged enough by human experiences hence mildly or gravely despondent over the human yet quite inhumane experiments, that is, the political and social monstrosities called Government.

To the following (incomplete list of) influences, who in various decrees marginally or largely shifted my ideological thus moral paradigm(s), facilitating and fostering the conclusions in this book. Consequently in somewhat chronological order; the Taoist and Greek writers, the Apostles and their Gospels and Epistles, the Early Church writers, the theologians and economists of the School of Salamanca, Roger Williams (his book The Bloudy Tenent of Persecution for Cause of Conscience), John Locke, Richard Cantillon, John Stuart Mill, Anne Robert Jacques Turgot, Jean-Baptiste Say, Claude-Frédéric Bastiat (of course the essay The Law as well his complete works), Thomas Jefferson, James Madison and Alexander Hamilton (his article No. 84 only) thus the Federalist Papers, then the arguably preferred Anti-Federalist Papers therefore contributors, Patrick Henry (his fiery speech at the Virginia Ratifying Convention), writers and orators like Ohiyesa (Charles Eastman) as well chiefs Red Jacket, Joseph, Luther Standing Bear, Seattle and others (as compiled by numerous historians), Henry David Thoreau, Lysander Spooner, Mark Twain (his short story/prose War Prayer) and the American Anti-Imperialist League, Carl Menger, Eugen Böhm von Bawerk, Ludwig von Mises (particularly his books Liberalism and Human Action), F.A. Hayek, Garet Garrett, Albert J. Nock (his book Our Enemy, The State), Frank Chodorov, John T. Flynn, C.S. Lewis (his book Mere Christianity), Leonard Read, Henry Hazlitt (his masterly book Foundations of Morality), Ayn Rand (her book Atlas Shrugged and television interviews), Murray N. Rothbard (his two volume historical work on Economic Thought), Martin Luther King Jr. (his speeches and sermons on nonviolence and peace), John Lennon, Milton Friedman, Francis Schaeffer (his book True Spirituality, most noteworthy the section on covetousness), as well the few (among many) contemporaries per their books, essays, articles, lectures, shows, podcasts, documentaries and interviews like Lew Rockwell, Jeff Deist, Tom Woods, Walter Block, Hans-Herman Hoppe, Jesús Huerta de Soto, Walter E. Williams, Jeffrey Tucker, Rand Paul, Peter Schiff, Gerald Celente, Niall Ferguson, Hernando de Soto Polar, Thomas Sowell and of course Ron Paul (consistently a noninterventionist hence a man of peace).

This passion for bureaucracy is enough to drive one to despair...

"This passion for bureaucracy is enough to drive one to despair. It is as if in politics we were to deliberately to become men who need order and nothing but order, who become nervous and cowardly if for one moment this order wavers, and helpless if they are torn away from their total incorporation in it. That the world should know no men but these: it is in such an evolution that we are already caught up, and the great question is therefore not how we can promote and hasten it, but what can we oppose to this machinery in order to keep a portion of mankind free from this parceling-out of the soul, from this supreme mastery of the bureaucratic way of life."

Maximilian Karl Emil Weber (1864-1920)

As observed in his own country Germany of course, but throughout Europe as well United States, Canada and elsewhere, and as stated in his 1905 book The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism.

Personal note... When randomly falling upon such beautifully written as well quite observable truisms, often I will seek out a copy of the book. It will be interesting to read and consider Weber's greater context and argument within which this quote resides, a statement well confirming my running thesis regarding Individualism.

On surface it may appear United States transformed overnight...

Lets be clear, Fascism is not Racism for its far worst per a top-down regulatory economy thus society, controlled largely till wholly by central government's elite few, thereby enslaving the entire population. Compared to Communism, that is, a bottom-up confiscatory economy thus society, controlled largely till wholly by central government's elite few, thereby enslaving the entire population. Both forms of tyranny may use Racism as well other means to such inhumane ends. With that said...

On surface it may appear sooner or late to some that United States transformed overnight into Fascistic-Socialistic governance, completely controlling the economy thus society by executive orders, solely caused by one or two catastrophic events... or so will go someday government's history books more or less. It is correct, United States have so transformed but not overnight, rather over the course of 100 years or more (I contend further back in US history).

John T. Flynn (1882-1964) in his book As We Go Marching (1944) suggested a comparison to 20th century United States per his survey of German history 100 years preceding the 1930s. See link for the free download of book (pdf/epub) else online retailers...

It is not too late to understand what is unfolding by rightly understanding history long unfolded, so to understand vicious cycles as repeated decisions of various ill sorts however cycles potentially broken if by rare and logical choices. The human specie's peculiar ability to reason allows for decisions of the greatest benefits as well of the gravest detriments. Thus, first important decision is to study, ponder as well labor till last breath.

Federal Reserve cuts interest rates to ZERO...

Federal Reserve cuts interest rates to ZERO amid an unofficial QE4 well underway for months, much accompanied by executive orders as well with more to come....

The long and purposeful struggle to smother and suffocate Capitalism is over. Going forward, partisan politics will be nothing more than variations of Fascistic Socialism, not in name of course but in practice well disguised by political rhetoric per promulgated social/economic necessity upon emergency. Both major political parties have equally contributed thus paved the way for decades, so to blame one over the other is fantasy.

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.
Study, Ponder, Labor, till last Breath.

In God We Trust?

In God We Trust? For decades Americans of both political persuasions placed their trust even faith in man-made institutions thus honoring the instituted branches, offices, departments, agencies, bureaus, police and military as well supporting the instituted laws, regulations, policies, programs, orders, wars, fair taxes and expected duties, therefore revering the instituted symbols, memorials, statues, anthems and flags.

Oddly even blasphemously, Americans placed on currency "In God We Trust" although trusting far more government's crony-bankers at the Federal Reserve while monopolizing and regulating the value thereof hence scheming and thieving by monetary expansion.

Instead of acknowledging the obvious failures by these man-made institutions and instituted measures, thus logically questioning their misplaced trust, faith, honor, support and reverence, Americans willingly, anxiously and fearfully petition for larger institutions and broader measures upon every disaster actual or otherwise caused by the same. The current disaster(s) actual or otherwise are no exceptions. Interestingly and paradoxically, the Left hope to reform government institutions towards some perceived moral future while the Right hope to restore government institutions back to some perceived moral past, however both gravely misguided with unintended consequences as well intended impositions if successful.

Am I saying the government should do nothing?

I HAVE, I AM and I WILL continue to say so! For not only government should do nothing but much less by rescission, rescission and more rescission until whatever remains as unanimously agreeable or tolerable. So of course trust God our Creator, for by divinely breathing into each dusty form His Likeness ergo uniquely instilling the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason manifested solely by the Singular Human Right to Consent versus Dissent on all matters, he created You the Individual then and since, not You the Collective.

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

Quote by Prince Michael of Liechtenstein

"Governments’ excessive spending and oversized bureaucracies have created staggering public deficits. The unduly elevated role of public administration sucks talent away from the productive sectors of manufacturing and services into deadweight bureaucratic overhead. Lately, one can hardly avoid the impression that many regulations serve to justify public jobs rather than aid society. This amounts to a massive burden on the economy, especially in Europe, vastly contributing to the declining competitiveness on the continent." --- Prince Michael of Liechtenstein

Quote by Henry Hazlitt (1894-1993)

"The whole gospel of Karl Marx can be summed up in a single sentence: Hate the man who is better off than you are. Never under any circumstances admit that his success may be due to his own efforts, to the productive contribution he has made to the whole community. Always attribute his success to the exploitation, the cheating, the more or less open robbery of others. Never under any circumstances admit that your own failure may be owing to your own weakness, or that the failure of anyone else may be due to his own defects — his laziness, incompetence, improvidence or stupidity. Never believe in the honesty or disinterestedness of anyone who disagrees with you. This basic hatred is the heart of Marxism. This is its animating force." --- Henry Hazlitt (1894-1993)

Quote by Claudio Grass

"At the end of the day, what MMT (Modern Monetary Theory), the Green New Deal, QE, NIRP, Helicopter Money or any other sort of government promise or intervention have in common is that they are all collectivistic by definition, aimed against the individual and based on the crazy findings of the 'Economic School of Zimbabwe' – where everyone became a trillionaire." --- Claudio Grass

Ayn Rand interviewed in 1967 by Johnny Carson

"A free country can coexist with anyone, and incidentally free the rest of the world by example if it is free itself...not by fighting wars (but) by example, by free trade. A free country destroys barriers." --- Ayn Rand (1905-1982)

Ms Rand's response and criticism of the Vietnam War as well US government's aggressive Cold War.policies... Free trade thus capitalism will nonviolently achieve far more across borders and seas, if free trade thus unhindered capitalism exist domestically. Therefore the failures of US interventionist wars upon first the failures of US interventionist economics.

Proverbs 18:9

"He also that is slothful in his work is brother to him that is a great waster."

Proverbs 18:9

Commentary... Another translation reiterates "is brother to one who destroys", thus quite strong the proverbial condemnation upon those whose slothfulness inspire covetousness then eye and pursue the fruits of others' labor. Without of course the consent of all effected, the pursuits of the slothful and the covetous proceed to disrespect and disregard then transgress and trample others' rightful dissent via club, knife, gun or the more socially acceptable method; government legislation, a politicized way to say "violence merely legalized".

“If any man's money can be taken by a so-called government, without his own personal consent, all his other rights are taken with it; for with his money the government can, and will, hire soldiers to stand over him, compel him to submit to its arbitrary will, and kill him if he resists.”

Lysander Spooner (1808-1887)

This occurred long ago first by US Government's taxation, then later the scheme matured by Federal Reserve's monopolization.

When individuals resist self-reliance worse becomes the economy...

When more and more individuals resist self-reliance while insisting dependency upon others and/or government, worse becomes the economy as well culture, language, discourse, intellect, judgement, fortitude, moral character therefore the whole society.

When more and more individuals insist self-reliance while resisting dependency upon others and/or government, better becomes the economy as well culture, language, discourse, intellect, judgement, fortitude, moral character therefore the whole society.

And so go the simplicity thus the consistency in logical observation, truth self-evident, whereas complexity, perplexity, chronic confusion and relentless rejection persist solely per covetousness left unrestrained.

I am an INDIVIDUALIST... Ayn Rand

"I am an INDIVIDUALIST who believes that there is NO CLASH OF INTEREST among people and that ANY TALENT IS A HELP, not a threat, to another talent." --- Ayn Rand (1905-1982)

Note:
Quote was recently posted online by UK Liberty Party, consequently my post.

It is because of this statement and others similar by this tremendously intelligent lady, as well many related implications by the gentleman Ludwig von Mises, that I began to prefer then embrace the word INDIVIDUALISM. As I consistently define, INDIVIDUALISM is merely "the singular human right to consent" or not consent on all matters, as the conclusion to "the peculiar human ability to reason" (thus titles of my 10th and forthcoming 11th books). Not to the exclusion of other compatible isms of course, rather those considerations synonymous and/or subset of INDIVIDUALISM.

The sanctity of private property, personal liberty and one's very life are not foundations themselves nor rights as often categorized. Instead the three along with any other like examination will root and root deeply near or next to the stream of reasoning, the sole human distinction among all nonhuman species, the peculiar ability singularly manifested by the conclusion of consent versus dissent, hence INDIVIDUALISM. All other notions of rights as well isms must flow from this else not a right nor ism justified at all, and the atrocity resulted; the singular right to consent inhumanely trampled.

For what is Libertarianism if not the expression of INDIVIDUALISM's various arrangements and activities as consented. For what is Capitalism if not the expression of INDIVIDUALISM's particular arrangements and activities as consented regarding his/her capital. For what is Non-Interventionism if not the expression of INDIVIDUALISM's respect and regard for others' various arrangements and activities as consented by them. And the logic, right, ethic thus truth carries on and on without exception. To clarify further, all isms political, social and economic lacking the consent of one or more, therefore disrespecting and disregarding the dissent of one or more, commits violence against INDIVIDUALISM.

"Everyone is the proper owner of his own physical body, as well as of all places and nature-given goods that he occupies and puts to use by means of his body, provided that no one else has already occupied or used the same places and goods before him."
