PROEM & POEM No. 117 - Burden of Responsibility and Risk
Each and every action carries with it the inherent thus unavoidable burden of responsibility and risk, defining since antiquity the natural state of human activity. First, the actor bears the responsibility thus cost of the action by exerting labor and/or expending resource. Second, the actor bears the risk thus outcome of the action by enjoying the increment and/or enduring the detriment.
However on the actor’s behalf, another person may bear responsibility and/or risk, voluntarily if have consented thus acceptant or coercively if have dissented thus resistant, albeit never negating nor mitigating rather merely transferring the burden. With that said, it is intellectual whimsy, fantasy even psychosis, to contemplate society or human activity without individual burden of responsibility and risk. Any Utopian attempt results to a few, some or many transferring in part at best their burden upon others to additionally bear. To say “transferring in part at best” implies trading one human activity for another thus unavoidably trading one burden for another.
It is true by whip, gun, threat or law the actor may force another to plow his/her field, work his/her shop, provide his/her sustenance, maintenance or extravagance, or subsidize his/her expense or debt, however now engaging in the action of enforcement directly or indirectly, still carrying with its own unique burden of responsibility and risk. The actor as enforcer either by gun or vote not only is logically unethical but economically foolhardy. For the burden unique to force (another word for violence) is not equally tradable but additional, perhaps exponential, compounding and complicating the responsibilities and risks inherent to all nonviolent human activities. In contrast, if another person bears voluntarily the responsibility and/or risk, the additional burden per the use of enforcement is nonexistent, still, not without negative residuals (see No. 118).
It is not difficult to imagine by resorting to force the newly induced overhead thus expenditure of labor and resource, in addition to the moral dilemma per the disregard for the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent on all matters, inseparably the disrespect for the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason.

And so it goes the lofty struggle; inner woes and outer throes
Uttered prose of expletives adorned of woolgathering clothes
Masses lowing by prodding, tossing to and fro per friary
O the pedantic bawdry upon longstanding scholastic tawdry
(Her scarred hand outstretches into the sleepless night
As midnight mourns and scorns the approaching twilight
Hence the laborious morn, partly to keep, thus she weeps
For her misery heaps while Solomonic factotums reap)
Ah the symphonic motives `yond every ceremonial totem
Narcissistically erected by egotistically masturbating locums
Pro tem the randy arrangement, pretending the sustainment
Until the tallied estrangement, to fulfill the inevitable payment

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.
Study, Ponder, Labor, till last Breath.
