PROEM & POEM No. 176 - The Rescissionist / Part 8
On one hand, legislation, enactment, adjudication and executive order are obviously (and redundantly) legislated, enacted, adjudicated and executively ordered legalities. More profoundly, legislation, enactment, adjudication and executive order are the politically enabling, vesting and empowering of covetousness, presumption and arrogance as oft enlivened, exerted and exercised by most if not all government officeholders variously inherited, anointed, elected, appointed, employed or assumed in some fashion royal, ceremonial, political, ministerial, presidential, parliamentary, congressional, bureaucratic and more.
It is irrelevant whether a person in government is of good nature, moral character, proper demeanor and/or likeable personality. First, these qualifiers are quite subjective within the social, political context. Second, such a good, moral, proper and/or likeable person possesses no less innate covetousness than the bad, immoral, improper and/or unlikeable person therefore no less susceptibly tempted, entertained, beguiled and succumbed by it.
On the other hand, rescission is obviously the rescinding of previously legislated, enacted, adjudicated and executively ordered legalities. More profoundly, rescission is the politically disabling, divesting and disempowering of covetousness, presumption and arrogance as oft enlivened, exerted and exercised by most if not all government officeholders variously inherited, anointed, elected, appointed, employed or assumed in some fashion royal, ceremonial, political, ministerial, presidential, parliamentary, congressional, bureaucratic and more.
Let’s consider further. If to accept the observable fact, covetousness resides inherent within each and every person, then each and every person governmentally empowered equates to covetousness governmentally empowered. It immediately else inevitably follows once politically endowed, the same person commonly susceptible to covetousness' temptation becomes uncommonly so tempted then seduced toward presumption and arrogance, next the enacted violation thus legalized violence levied immorally even inhumanely upon others’ personal propensity, prerogative, preference and purpose.
Only intellectual psychosis would deny such, therefore most fantastically believing, some idolatrously reverencing a preferred party and politician as though cut from some other nonhuman cloth. Conversely, the only logical, ethical as well sustainable remedy is rescission!
