"The climax of the Ten Commandments is the Tenth Commandment – 'Thou shat not covet' – Actually we break this last commandment, not to covet, before we break any of the others. Any time that we break one of the other commandments of God, it means that we have already broken this commandment, in coveting."

Francis Schaeffer (1912-1984)

The above quote is perhaps the most profound, far-reaching Biblical commentary of the 20th century, well articulated and postulated by theologian Francis Schaeffer (1912-1984) in his 1971 book True Spirituality, identifying the last of the Ten Commandments as already broken before breaking any of the previous nine. To summarize, all sins flow from the one sin; covetousness. Yet the profoundness, the described depth and implied breadth, therefore the logic and consistency by that insight and truth are best understood by rightly expanding the summary as well the Schaefferian text. That is to say, the disrespect and disregard of others' reasoning manifested by their dissent, thus unilateral actions against the same, spring always from covetousness first, soon followed by presumption then arrogance and if acted upon personally, socially or politically; violence.

 

So must be proposed and stated again the Schaefferian Law of Anterior Covetousness; if an action disregarding dissent (not consensual), then anterior the covetousness as the initial speculation, presumption the consequential disposition, arrogance, disrespect thus disregard the eventual manifestation.

City becomes Republic of Oroville? Well done!

City becomes Republic of Oroville? I find this interesting as a Mississippian though native and former resident of California's northern Central Valley, Hwy 49 Foothills as well Humboldt County.

Many outside California may be aware of the Bear Flag Revolt joined by both Americanos and Californios against the Mexican government's brand of despotism. What the same many may not be aware was the rebellious formation and 3-month existence of The Great Republic of Rough and Ready, against the territorial/federal rule of the larger California thus United States (over taxes once again).

THUS in that grand longstanding tradition of local nay individual sovereignty, now The Republic of Oroville. I tip my hat and raise a glass. Well done!

Certainly news agencies like CNN, MSNBC, BBC and other major networks are not covering the mass demonstrations... while Fox News and those of similar persuasions provide minimal attention...

Certainly news agencies like CNN, MSNBC, BBC and other major networks are not covering the mass demonstrations around the world against economic lockdowns, vaccine/mask mandates, vaccine passports thus crimes against humanity, while Fox News and those of similar persuasions provide minimal attention. Only alternative news appropriately, rightly cover these historic events.

The false narratives (propaganda) and congressional investigation regarding Jan 6 demonstration are having "chilling effects" upon coverage of any demonstration, the same insidious effects intended of course by Department of Justice Secretary memo to the FBI about parents at local school board meetings.

Intimidation and threat escalated to unprecedented levels in the city streets of 2020 remaining uncharged and unprosecuted, the same expedient method now cloaked and draped in polities and legalities. Yet there continues a hesitancy to compare the rise of American Fascism the last two decades (at least) to the rise of German Fascism the two decades between WW1 and WW2.

In case words and terms are still problematic, consider the below logical, consistent definitions...

I relied on Leibniz's development of binary, Boole's logical use of algebra and binary (later known as Boolean algebra or logic), Wittgenstein's truth tables, Shannon's logic gates thus digital circuit theory as well Boole's insistence that properly written syllogism can be expressed algebraically. Hence I made use of my own logical constructions of two proposed laws as syllogisms then demonstrated the consistencies by way of truth tables, logic gates and pseudo code.

Why should I prove the consistency of my ethical argument regarding the "right to consent or dissent on all matters"? Without consistency as prerequisite, any ethical as well truthful, factual, scientific, mathematical proposition and conclusion would be suspicious if not arbitrary. If to persist then insist on such arbitrariness then presumption and arrogance as gravely demonstrated widespread in today's academia, science, morality, society, polity and more.

Additionally, I will be syllogistically proposing another consistency thus ethic, by referencing as the Schaefferian Law of Anterior Covetousness per my last book's Proem & Poem Nos. 147-155 logically founded upon the 1st chapter of the 1971 book True Spirituality by theologian Francis Schaeffer (1912-1984). So it follows, if disrespected, disregarded, transgressed then trampled the Singular Human Right to Consent or Dissent on ALL matters, Covetousness always without exception the rot at core of such disrespect, disregard, transgression and trample.

Government is the negation of liberty...

Gubernatorial election results in Virginia should be as much a wakeup call for Republicans as it obviously is for Democrats. Both parties have a long history of big government spending as well taxing, regulating, banning, sanctioning, subsidizing, surveilling, warring and more. Is it possible reasonable people of all backgrounds are beginning to actually prefer LESS government? I certainly hope so!

PROEM & POEM No. 99 - So What Is Individualism

        So what is Individualism if not the variations among nebulous even specious equivocations; self reliance or determination, even selfishness or greed, and so on impractically as well detrimentally? Since the turn of the 21st century, the latter have been a newly popular argument gaining momentum so to mendaciously condemn Individualism as antisocial, uncharitable even callous. The former, older argument retorts quickly, steadfastly while minutely appropriate, thus defending with no more precision than the later, vague accusation. Consequently, both lack practical application without ethical dilemmas.

        Concisely hence precisely, Individualism is the constant respect and consistent regard towards each and every person’s Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, prerequisite to all matters intimate, private, philosophical, spiritual, theological, public, social, political, that is to say, all matters ethical synonymously all matters human. By this, all actions or activities between two to two-million or more individuals are inherently, invariably judged regardless of polities, legalities, theologies, philosophies, ideologies, popularities, categorically upon disrespect and disregard; presumptuous arbitraries, magnanimous fantasies or gratuitous whimsies.

Oft' simplicities suffice as it was the last several days; thought provoking theological/ethical book, iced coffee with slice of lime, modest meal of boiled egg, split carrots, hummus, homegrown parsley as well Kentucky bourbon, nuts and raisins (as another meal), Memphis (local) brew, fine pipe tobacco, garden setting and homemade rye bread... :-)

~ Peculiarity, Uniqueness, Distinction / 3rd Reprise ~

As much the one specie possesses the peculiar human ability to reason, so inseparably propulsive thus inarguably rightful the singular human right to consent or dissent on all matters.

As much the one specie possesses NOT the peculiar human ability to reason, so instinctively unaware thus inconsequentially moot the singular human right to consent or dissent on all matters.

Consequentially, if to propose the existence of human reason as absolute as it is peculiar, so must propose the existence of human ethic as absolute as it is singular.
