Quotes by Lao Tzu and King Solomon

"Government, with its laws and regulations more numerous than the hairs of an ox, is a vicious oppressor of the individual, and more to be feared than fierce tigers." --- Lao Tzu (6th Century - 4th century BC)

"For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof." --- King Solomon (990-931 BC)

Lao Tzu made the observation by rightly connecting political oppression to the mere volume of laws, regulations, taxes, policies, programs, etc. Several centuries earlier Solomon, although royally part of the bureaucratic problem, rightly reverse-engineered political excess or oppression back to the source as the "transgression of a land" or sins of the people.

Of course what would be that transgression or sin if not well rooted in covetousness. By this motivation, people proceed by petition and/or vote to selfishly utilize government's force upon others so to manipulate or regulate their behavior, extort or tax their possession, confiscate or seize their property, even incarcerate or terminate their existence if so inhumanely driven. Ironically, the very bureaucracy initially created then incrementally expanded will eventually turn against those who first coveted.

Economic and Academic Bombs

Among all possible monopolies, government monopolization of currency first then education are the two worst, most far-reaching thus devastating...

"Perpetual vigilance on the part of the citizens can achieve what a thousand laws and dozens of alphabetical bureaus with hordes of employees never have and never will achieve: the preservation of a sound currency." --- Ludwig von Mises (1881-1973)

“The most urgent necessity is not that the State should teach, but that it should allow education. All monopolies are detestable, but the worst of all is the monopoly of education." --- Frédéric Bastiat (1801-1850)

...Thus both addressed in my previous and forthcoming books, described as Economic and Academic Bombs, far more destructive even deadlier (literally) than any atomic/nuclear bomb.

Come let us Reason (Is 1:18). Peace is always a Choice (Mt 5:9).
Study, Ponder, Labor, till last Breath (2 Tm 2:15 / Cl 3:23).

The economy is rigged

The economy is rigged, meaning, by government it is gravely planned, regulated, taxed, fined, licensed, subsidized, monetized, redirected (or misdirected) per loans at artificial low interest rates, as well parts of it monopolized, prohibited, sanctioned, banned, embargoed and so on. So if a private investor legally, financially outwits most by correctly anticipating a bust to the government's bubble, none of his/her activities should be judged as questionable. If a politician, bureaucrat or crony does the same, all of his/her activities should be judged as questionable.

BILL of RIGHT

If such understanding forms and foments, then solely amid ceaseless study, ponder and labor, concluding first in part, later in whole, to logically respect then ethically regard, hence fervently declaring then firmly establishing in this manner.

The propensity, preference and persistence upon observable practice by Each and Every Individual since first reasoned the Specie Human and Peculiar above all other species, thus consistently inclining, constantly insisting the Singular Right to Consent or Dissent regarding Each and Every Matter, indeed without exception as exemplified per unwanted prevention, unacceptable prohibition, undesirable preemption, unwelcomed intervention, unwarranted retroaction by persons ever covetous as well parties ever contemptuous whether private, religious, philosophical, economical, social, political, governmental and more.

If to choose, which should I fear more?

So far, 130,000+ cases of coronavirus for 2019/2020 season in the US, 2,300+ deaths, and projected to rise. (To be fair to both sides of the argument, I modified Friday's numbers I posted yesterday per this morning's reports. Still, I hold to my positions thus below critical questions.)

So far, 14,000,000+ cases of influenza for 2019/2020 season in the US, 310,000+ hospitalizations and 18,000+ deaths, and projected to rise.

If to choose, which should I fear more? Which would more likely overwhelm hospitals? Which of the two should be exhausting medical supplies and home products? And if for one why not for both, government executive-ordering so to shutdown schools, and businesses, cripple the economy, bail out corporations, print more money as well promote social distancing?

Euphoric Populism, Mystic Intellectualism and Ecclesiastic even Pontific Statism

Perhaps children today when adults 20, 30 or 40 years from now, will usher in a Neo-Age of Enlightenment, individually pursuing once again Fact, Logic, Consistency, Science, Ethic thus Truth, upon having witnessed and suffered the early 21st century's economical, academical, societal, political as well moral declination and destruction per their forebears' pandemic psychosis resulting from decades of unquestionable reverence for Euphoric Populism, Mystic Intellectualism and Ecclesiastic even Pontific Statism.

They know what they are doing.?

Its one thing for government leaders to presume they know what they are doing. It is quite another thing and quite astonishing for people to assume government leaders know what they are doing. Yet here we are, prepared and primed upon decades of conditioning to follow government leaders into full-blown police statism, economic fascism thus grotesque monetarism. Proof? The last few weeks!

Here is the hypocrisy ignored...

Here is the hypocrisy ignored...

Those socially distancing themselves in their homes per the paper-tiger pandemic, while righteously dissing others who question, are still going to crowded stores, waiting in long checkout lines to buy goods, expecting those store managers and employees to commercially thus socially interact with others.

The hypocrisy worsens, for every grocery item purchased represents 100s to 1000s to 10s of 1000s of people who haven't socially distanced themselves to make possible each can of corn, carton of milk or box of tissue. The same hypocrisy is true for every item purchased online and delivered to front doors as occupants fearfully hibernate, while patronizing journalists who support continuous if not further social/economic shutdowns.

Finally, some common sense among a few politicians...

Finally, some common sense among a few politicians (not that I am a fan of any of them). We need to get back to work! We need to reestablish supply chains! We need businesses to freely operate as employers and employees decide for themselves uninterrupted by government!!!

Of course, the corporate media's fear-mongers are claiming Americans will die if everyone goes back to work, ignoring the fact far more will get sick unrelated to coronavirus and even die if grocery and pharmacy shelves are not replenished soon.

We need to recognize the far graver virus or threat. To feebly mend and inflate the 10+ year bubble that just popped, Federal Reserve at government's behest is currently flooding the economy with unprecedented amounts of fiat currency; basically QE Infinity. By so doing, the dollar will be worthless sooner or later. At that inevitable juncture, the coronavirus will seem insignificant if not forgotten by comparison.

Surges, spikes and spirals...

Where are pandemic reports and statistics indicating "surges, spikes and spirals" among high risk groups based on dense gatherings; store clerks, grocery shoppers, pharmacists, especially college students who have flocked to beaches to party opposed to social-distancing themselves.

For of late, corporate media have featured stories of young adults who have contracted coronavirus to perpetuate fear-mongering across all sectors of society. "No one is safe!" goes the warning. Of course no one is safe nor immune as it is for influenza or any other such illnesses. Although per journalists' promulgation, should there not be coronavirus cases actually surging, spiking and spiraling among store clerks, grocery shoppers, pharmacists, especially college students?

I will retract my question if shown current numbers, NOT projected numbers and theoretical estimations.

So easily we submit and fear even bow and tremble...

Long ago Americans were deluded into thinking that government is most productive when imagining, creating, writing, discussing, debating then passing laws, regulations, taxes, fines, fees, licenses, policies, programs, bans, sanctions, prohibitions, surveillance, etc, Thus government is often characterized by media, criticized by people as broken if not busy in so doing.

Is it any wonder not a single activity, not a single moment is not criminalized, regulated, taxed, fined, charged, licensed, organized, subsidized, banned, sanctioned, prohibited, monitored, etc. Is it any wonder by executive orders alone the economy thus country can be shut down, locked down until ordered otherwise.

Shame on this nation for ever hailing the Constitution and Bill of Rights as something sacred when so easily we discard and dismiss, while claiming to be the land of the free and the home of the brave when so easily we submit and fear even bow and tremble.

The uncomfortable truth is, both Constitution and Bill of Rights were already flawed even ill formed upon conception (to align with Lysander Spooner's 1870 critique), for neither were well founded upon the Individual's Singular Human Right to Consent or Dissent on ALL matters.

Damn corporate media to hell...

Damn corporate media to hell for partisan chiding and posturing amid a humanitarian crises. Damn politicians of both parties to hell for jointly creating a continuously rising economic mountain from a viral mole hill.

My apologies but damn them all to hell nonetheless.

With that said, the aforementioned would not have the power if not so electorally empowered by numerous decades of political enabling, social depending as well popular trusting upon a man-made government hence trusting mere mortals therein as though infallible demigods and selfless superheroes.

"Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help." -or- "Do not put your trust in princes, in human beings, who cannot save." --- Psalms 146:3 (KJV, NIV)

"If one rejects laissez faire on account of man's fallibility and moral weakness, one must for the same reason also reject every kind of government action." --- Ludwig von MIses (1881-1973)

I'll say it again. Economies should not be proactively destroyed as a reactionary solution for an "projected thus alleged" pandemic. Even when confronting an actual pandemic, best solutions and quick responses can only come from an economy thriving therefore unhindered, unencumbered and uninterrupted.

Day 12 of The Greater Depression...

Perhaps a glass, mason jar or bottle of something distilled and clear or barreled and brown to go with some appropriate music for Day 12 of The Greater Depression...

"Gotta get myself
Off the side of the road
I got to quit lying to myself
And let the truth be told..."

... There is no quick nor easy solution for the present dilemma but to first unlearn much and then some, so to learn anew as well endlessly, thus Study, Ponder, Labor, till last Breath!

The same range of reactions and emotions... exists within media and government...

The same range of reactions and emotions among the general population exists within media and government. They are of the same biology and psychology as everyone else and no less subject to the ever-present human propensities for error and excess as well self-interest.

Consider the range of emotional reactions among your family, friends, acquaintances and online contacts, from the apathetic, nonchalant to the fearful, hysterical and in between every other psychological state. So it is for people within media and government even among the highest corporate desks and political offices from the top on down. Thus hysteria is running as rampant, lending to irrational, horrible decisions, mandates, orders with more to come. As a result, markets are crashing, economies declining, activities ceasing, supply chains breaking, compounding upon every new irrational executive measure at national, state, regional as well local levels.

Look. Government is self-serving even during troubled times perhaps more so. Priority One will not be your and my health nor well being but to remain in control, to maintain the power, all other considerations are secondary, tertiary if of any concern at all. The continuous growth in power since 1913 and earlier should be sufficient evidence of US government's covetous even obscene desire to serve itself first and foremost. Now add to the governmental equation the full range of reactions and emotions combined with propensities for error and excess common to us all.

Recent quote by Jeff Deist

"It may be harder than we think to determine the number of actual deaths strictly from COVID 19, given the close approximation of symptoms to other strains of flu and common colds-- not to mention comorbidity. Even 50K deaths in America, similar to an average flu season, would not justify shutting down 90% of the US economy for weeks or months.

This is plainly crazy and wrong. A broken economy, crazed fiscal/monetary responses by Congress and the Fed, not to mention egregious & illegal violations of liberty, are not all all justified by this virus. Our actions will kill & impoverish people, perhaps far more people than the virus. The lesson of Bastiat's seen and unseen remains unlearned."

We are merely witnessing an exponential surge upon decades of gradual momentum.

The economic crisis combined with the opportunistic seizing of power (of course in the name of safety) did not happen overnight nor per one presidential administration and certainly not caused by a pandemic. We are merely witnessing an exponential surge upon decades of gradual momentum. Each president and every congress since 1913 (arguably much earlier) have well contributed intentionally or ignorantly to political and economic conditions facilitating today's near police-statism and "grotesque" monetary expansion (or better said, abuse).

If my grandchildren, great-grandchildren and their generational peers do not understand 20th/21st US history in this way, they will be sure to vote the same way thus support the same sort of laws, policies and wars that have led to the disaster before us now.

Note:
During a Liberty Report interview hosted by Ron Paul and Daniel McAdams, Ludwig von Mises Institute president Jeff Deist described the Federal Reserve's decisions last weekend and this week as "grotesque". I wholeheartedly concur with his choice of word. The latest mass expansion of currency is as immoral even inhumane as it is misunderstood or ignored by the citizenry as well most of polity. Unfortunately, none will be able to ignore the resulting pain soon to come.

More on Human ABILITY to REASON, Human RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 147 (2nd version)

Most likely to be published later this spring/summer of 2020, my 11th book entitled appropriately; More Proems & Poems on the Peculiar Human ABILITY to REASON, Singular Human RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover a slightly modified yet appropriate version of the previous....

PROEM & POEM No. 147 - John Locke and Francis Schaeffer / Part 1

Everyone in various degrees argues, qualifies then categorizes his/her own preferences as principles while the preferences of others as whimsies, stupidities, mistakes, exaggerations, detriments and more. The human condition exhibits a paradox far more so than less because rare the tempering by any attempt to restrain oneself per the Silver Rule. To clarify, the Golden Rule is nothing but presumptuous, unethical even outrageous, violent intrusion without first the Silver Rule well studied, pondered and adhered then consistently embraced, practiced and defended. For the Silver Rule assumes implicit dissent until explicit consent. Only upon such logical and ethical prerequisite, the Golden Rule can be propositionally explained and tolerably exercised.

So it observably follows, each and every person expects even insists others to respect and regard his/her preferences, although do not necessarily extend the same courtesy. When extending respect and regard to others and their preferences, it is done so for endless motivations thus countless explanations other than the one and only rationalization constant thus justification consistent. Instead, extended are inconstant respect and inconsistent regard, that is to say, to those if agreeable, if likable, if lovable, if tolerable or sufferable possibly, if favorable or profitable certainly.

To establish further upon a slightly different perspective, consider comments taken from Peter King’s Posthumous Works of John Locke (1706). So it goes; Every one is forward to complain of the prejudices that mislead other men or parties, as if he were free and had none of his own. This being objected on all sides, it is agreed that it is a fault and a hindrance to knowledge. What now is the cure ? No other but this, that every man should let alone others’ prejudices and examine his own… This is the mote which every one sees in his brother's eye, but never regards the beam in his own.

To say a person or group of persons have biases is as ridiculously unnecessary as to say having propensities, preferences, limits, scarcities, flaws, errors, inabilities, deficiencies, gluttonies, excesses and so on, for to be human is to have all of these things, that is, the numerous persisting thorn(s) in the flesh (2 Co 12:7). Thus mere congruity imposes the speculation then inclusion; to be human is to covet as well. These human tendencies prevails mostly unnoticed as part of the larger whole, the philosophically universal propensities for error and excess, else the theologically inherent state of total depravity. Amid the context of either proposition, the tendencies, propensities or depravities (if you will) are commonly compounded and exasperated by covetousness. Always a subtle impulse initially, yet if to linger beyond a few moments capriciously, unintentionally, purposefully or intensely, incited will be presumption, excited the arrogance then ignited the violence privately, publicly, socially, politically, legally, illegally, etc.

By now it should not be necessary, however to logically define again violence as any act or action taken upon another’s person, privacy, preference, possession and property against exact dissent or without explicit consent. For with exact dissent or without explicit consent, the act or action is harmful (see No. 129) as individually determined per the mind logically deciding, as intimately discerned per the soul rightly dividing (2 Tm 2:15), thus as indisputably demonstrated per the hairs defiantly raising on back of the stubborn neck since divine dawn of human reasoning.

---

O the speck and splinter fester graver per critical eyes
Cynically “The ayes have it!” thus vied finically the guise
Mystically the ruse the racket per the excuse slightly tacit
Though logically flaccid, academically plain upon placid

Fascism even Despotism, in the making for decades

Fascism even Despotism, in the making for decades particularly well nurtured by Bush and Obama administrations, now nearly matured upon end of Trump's first term amid an alleged pandemic.

Have not history taught us anything about such growth in executive power?

Though always of use and in use by past administrations, now the norm will be routine executive decisions, mandates and orders without congressional approval. The tyrannical method already have enticed governors and mayors to do likewise.

My God!

Beware and prepare for the actual bipartisan-perpetuated epidemic...

Beware and prepare for the actual bipartisan-perpetuated epidemic in the making for decades, far graver than any virus, as discussed by three consistent voices of reason; Ron Paul (1), Daniel McAdams (2) with guest Jeff Deist (3)....

2. President of Ron Paul Institute.
3. President of Ludwig von Mises Institute.

What the f--k is happening; mindless hysteria, orchestrated collusion, convenient opportunity...

New York Times cited this morning 5,881 coronavirus cases in United States, while CNN categorizes the same number as a surge, tipping point, crisis, upon reporting the closing of the US/Canadian border and overwhelmed hospitals. To further understand the paradox, less than 100 have died thus most are recovering.

Am I exaggerating the disconnect between hysteria and reality? Lets compare above numbers with influenza for the 2019/2020 season per CDC's site/information. For the US alone...

36,000,000 – 51,000,000 flu illnesses
17,000,000 – 24,000,000 flu medical visits
370,000 – 670,000 flu hospitalizations
22,000 – 55,000 flu deaths

... Yet influenza each year never overwhelm hospitals, close borders, quarantine countries, crash markets, ban travel, cancel events, restrict gatherings, prohibit firearm/alcohol sales, nor seen as a surge, tipping point or crisis.

What the f--k is happening; mindless hysteria, orchestrated collusion, convenient opportunity, etc; the numbers should raise questions, not ongoing acceptance.

If this untenable pandemic is an orchestrated test by government...

If this untenable pandemic is an orchestrated test by government to confirm how well publicly funded/subsidized education have so conditioned, propagandized even predisposed the individual to willingly, obediently even ultimately forfeit, submit even sacrifice... then I would conclude with heavy heart; the test confirms.

On surface it may appear United States transformed overnight...

Lets be clear, Fascism is not Racism for its far worst per a top-down regulatory economy thus society, controlled largely till wholly by central government's elite few, thereby enslaving the entire population. Compared to Communism, that is, a bottom-up confiscatory economy thus society, controlled largely till wholly by central government's elite few, thereby enslaving the entire population. Both forms of tyranny may use Racism as well other means to such inhumane ends. With that said...

On surface it may appear sooner or late to some that United States transformed overnight into Fascistic-Socialistic governance, completely controlling the economy thus society by executive orders, solely caused by one or two catastrophic events... or so will go someday government's history books more or less. It is correct, United States have so transformed but not overnight, rather over the course of 100 years or more (I contend further back in US history).

John T. Flynn (1882-1964) in his book As We Go Marching (1944) suggested a comparison to 20th century United States per his survey of German history 100 years preceding the 1930s. See link for the free download of book (pdf/epub) else online retailers...

It is not too late to understand what is unfolding by rightly understanding history long unfolded, so to understand vicious cycles as repeated decisions of various ill sorts however cycles potentially broken if by rare and logical choices. The human specie's peculiar ability to reason allows for decisions of the greatest benefits as well of the gravest detriments. Thus, first important decision is to study, ponder as well labor till last breath.

Federal Reserve cuts interest rates to ZERO...

Federal Reserve cuts interest rates to ZERO amid an unofficial QE4 well underway for months, much accompanied by executive orders as well with more to come....

The long and purposeful struggle to smother and suffocate Capitalism is over. Going forward, partisan politics will be nothing more than variations of Fascistic Socialism, not in name of course but in practice well disguised by political rhetoric per promulgated social/economic necessity upon emergency. Both major political parties have equally contributed thus paved the way for decades, so to blame one over the other is fantasy.

In God We Trust?

In God We Trust? For decades Americans of both political persuasions placed their trust even faith in man-made institutions thus honoring the instituted branches, offices, departments, agencies, bureaus, police and military as well supporting the instituted laws, regulations, policies, programs, orders, wars, fair taxes and expected duties, therefore revering the instituted symbols, memorials, statues, anthems and flags.

Oddly even blasphemously, Americans placed on currency "In God We Trust" although trusting far more government's crony-bankers at the Federal Reserve while monopolizing and regulating the value thereof hence scheming and thieving by monetary expansion.

Instead of acknowledging the obvious failures by these man-made institutions and instituted measures, thus logically questioning their misplaced trust, faith, honor, support and reverence, Americans willingly, anxiously and fearfully petition for larger institutions and broader measures upon every disaster actual or otherwise caused by the same. The current disaster(s) actual or otherwise are no exceptions. Interestingly and paradoxically, the Left hope to reform government institutions towards some perceived moral future while the Right hope to restore government institutions back to some perceived moral past, however both gravely misguided with unintended consequences as well intended impositions if successful.

Am I saying the government should do nothing?

I HAVE, I AM and I WILL continue to say so! For not only government should do nothing but much less by rescission, rescission and more rescission until whatever remains as unanimously agreeable or tolerable. So of course trust God our Creator, for by divinely breathing into each dusty form His Likeness ergo uniquely instilling the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason manifested solely by the Singular Human Right to Consent versus Dissent on all matters, he created You the Individual then and since, not You the Collective.

A bubble "wildly" created by Federal Reserve's "unprecedented" monetary expansion

I am not saying there is no coronavirus nor concern, no more I would say there are no mole hills nor challenge. Neither however are the actual mountains casting far longer shadows upon us. The range of actual mountains for which to be concerned, are the political and social panic at near frenzy levels amid the bust hence end of an "unprecedented" 12+/- year economic bubble.

A bubble "wildly" created by Federal Reserve's "unprecedented" monetary expansion combined with US government's "unprecedented" expenditure domestically and militarily, as encouraged, supported, presided and executed by Bush, Obama and Trump administrations. A bubble foolishly created to mitigate ill effects by the 2008 bust of the prior bubble, as done for all previous busts of prior bubbles since 1913, kicking the old rusty tin can (day of reckoning) each time further down the road.

Thus the same goddamn mitigation already in progress. Whether this time or next, the deteriorating tin can will be kicked then will bounce against the unavoidable brick wall per an exhausted thus worthless US dollar, losing deservedly the confidence nationally as well internationally (i.e. petro-dollar).

What is the rot at core of these economic dilemmas; COVETOUSNESS always! That is to say, the unethical desire and violent pursuit to benefit oneself whether among polity or citizenry, right or left, conservative or liberal, majority or minority, rich or poor, deistic or atheistic, altruistic or egotistic, upon justifying otherwise immoral behavior so to petition, lobby, vote hence legislate the confiscation even extortion, manipulation even termination of others' property even possession, preference even person.

Government and it's crony-media have stoked well the fear...

Government and it's crony-media have stoked well the fear the last few weeks, even decreed in ways to exasperate. Now the fear is at a somewhat critical frenzy, as some politicians and their collusive journalists attempt to temper the fear thus contain the dangerously volatile situation.

A strategy by no means unique or new, for an expanding government or extensive empire (i.e. United States) uses fear to empower itself in various ways per various schemes; laws, regulations, bans, sanctions, taxes, fees, licenses, tariffs, programs, policies, bases, wars and more. Once imminent a near-uncontrollable level, the same fear-mongers reassure the public that all is in hand and in control. It is equally true, too much fear leads to violent responses beyond government's ability to manage so to remain in power.

Consequently, it is a matter of government strategically balancing between the covetously beneficial fear versus the excessively detrimental fear, while the people publicly educated and subsidized repeatedly, mindlessly dance and jump as marionettes upon each and every cue.

Best way to contain a pandemic is to cripple economies...

Yes, the best way to contain an "alleged" pandemic is to cripple economies by governments' banning, sanctioning, restricting, closing, cancelling as well massively spending, festering conditions for anxiety, unrest, crime, riot and war, along with facilitating police-statism of course for public safety and general welfare.

Regarding my country...

I'm not sure with whom I am most astonished and disappointed; US government or American people, for the empowered former ultimately reflects the empowering latter. thus having gravely digressed from a land of hardy even rough-n-ready individualists to a society of emotionally coddled then crippled codependents.

Among 127,000+ coronavirus cases "worldwide" thus far....

Among 127,000+ coronavirus cases "worldwide" thus far per several online sources; 68,000+ have already recovered, while 4,500+ died, most of the remaining seem to be recovering at hospitals or in homes.

And yes, now Tom and Rita Hanks have the virus with slight fever, chills, etc, of course per headline news that proves the pandemic. It merely proves they are 2 of 127,000+ cases and nothing more. Meanwhile, what is NOT in the news nor sends shock-waves among the stock exchanges....

CDC estimates that influenza has resulted in between 9 million – 45 million illnesses in the "US alone", between 140,000 – 810,000 hospitalizations and between 12,000 – 61,000 deaths annually since 2010.

People need to calm the f--k down... Seriously, suck it up, be a man, be a woman, think and calm the f--k down.

How quickly people allow governments to digress to police-statism...

How quickly people allow governments to digress to police-statism in neighborhoods, areas, regions, states and countries, of course in the name of safety.

Either online coronavirus numbers are closely accurate thus governments strategically fear-mongering, or grossly inaccurate thus governments strategically under-reporting else inefficiently under-performing. Regardless, governments cannot be trusted to fully disclose so to rightly enable individual decisions.

Lets compare again per the related hysteria.

Either governments' publicly funded schools and universities have failed to facilitate critical thinking among the alleged educated population, or have succeeded to mitigate even negate critical thinking among the alleged educated population. Regardless, governments cannot be trusted to properly educate so to rightly enable individual thinking.

Quote by Henry Hazlitt

"People are often led into the fault by a motive not incommendable in itself; the desire for originality. If you make originality and radicalness your aim, you will attain neither truth nor originality. But if you make truth your aim you will very likely get truth, and originality will come of itself." --- Henry Hazlitt (1894-1993)
CNN announced that CDC will soon remove (if not already) hourly/daily updated numeric information regarding the coronavirus from their website. Why? Statistics, counts, totals, percentages, are far more difficult to spin into well crafted statements for population instigation, manipulation and/or domination. Providing actual truths and facts for individuals to informatively decide for themselves is never the government's agenda.

Drastic drop of prices, whether stocks, goods, services...

Drastic drop of prices, whether stocks, goods, services, merely indicate a market correction for previously propped up prices by government, central bank, politically enabled monopolies thus both major parties and their cronies. Instead of concern for today's lower prices, we should be angry at the bipartisan collusion in Washington for years of above-market, bubble-inflated prices.

Federal Reserve's massive monetary expansion

Without the last 12+/- years (107 years total) of Federal Reserve's massive monetary expansion combined with US government's massive bipartisan expenditure that have puffed up an unprecedented economic bubble, the coronavirus and dropping oil prices would be mere online sidebar links or blurbs on back-pages. The solution of course as always popularly supported; more central bank expansion, more government expenditure, thus the actual pandemic (politically, if you will) will be contended as the necessary cure once again.

Writing this evening upon some finely distilled and aged inspiration...

Writing this evening upon some finely distilled and aged inspiration :-) ...

After many years studying, pondering and laboring closer and closer so to precisely understand the "core of the rot" that stirs, motivates then drives the private, public, social as well political disrespect and disregard for individual dissent (thus violence if acted upon), I will be making my conclusion featuring two quotes from these two books among pivotal paragraphs in my forthcoming book.

Absolutely necessary of course were preceding influences by Ludwig von Mises, Claude-Frédéric Bastiat, Henry Hazlitt, Anti-Federalists, Albert j. Nock, Walter E. Williams, Hans-Hermann Hoppe, Tom Woods, Ron Paul and a host of others as exhaustively listed in my last book.

Quillan Logo

And as went the personal metamorphosis thus promo photos as well (see previous post), so went the Quillan logo. The first Q-logo used until 7th book (on page before table of content), transitioning to the 2nd Q-logo thereafter...

Your name and your deeds were forgotten
Before your bones were dry
And the lie that slew you is buried
Under a deeper lie

But the thing that I saw in your face
No power can disinherit
No bomb that ever burst
Shatters the crystal spirit

George Orwell (1903-1950)

Back covers for my 4th and 9th books

Back covers for my 4th and 9th books, obviously have gone through metamorphosis... :-)

Ch-ch-changes
There's gonna have to be a different man
Time may change me
But I can't trace time

Quote by John Lock and My Commentary

"Every one is forward to complain of the prejudices that mislead other men or parties, as if he were free and had none of his own... This is the mote which every one sees in his brother's eye, but never regards the beam in his own." --- John Locke (1632-1704)

How then do I post such a quote while promoting even insisting so confidently, passionately even absolutely the sole ethic thus singular right to consent or dissent on all matters, as I critique with equal confidence, passion and absolute those who disagree? The answer should be self-evident yet often eludes. I do not covet unchecked enough thus do not intend to force upon their person, privacy, preference and/or possession by gun, knife, club, fist, office or vote. However, those who disagree do so for they do covet unchecked enough thus do intend to force upon my person, privacy, preference and/or possession by gun, knife, club, fist, office or vote.

As arrogant I may seem, I am equally, logically tempered, I pray humbled too, by what also should be self-evident yet often eludes. Whatever knowledge, experience, skill and wisdom I may have to manage my person, privacy, preference and property, are by no means sufficient to forcefully manage another's person, privacy, preference and property. With that said, many do speak and act as though they have such sufficiency, yet I am the arrogant one... :-)
