Regardless... carpe diem! Thus venerate this meaningless 4th with a meaningful 5th complimented with good tobacco...

Since the human specie first reasoned, smoke filled environments in forms of ceremonial pipes, community fires, smoke houses/lodges have oft been rudimentary bulwarks to various illnesses knowingly and unknowingly whether carried by insects, rodents, breath/air, etc. Perhaps more wisdom in the practice than donning on face a fashionably imposed mask clogged with material filaments, summer sweat, shed skin as well exhaled variants.

"And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of ALL his labour."

Ecclesiastes 3:13
