I often hope my fellow countrymen would consider history from a far less US-centric "Americans versus Gentiles" perspective. For allying and conquering along with other duplicitous victors do NOT justify NOR moralize the meddling, involvement, outcome and aftermath, in this case the decades following till present day.

I am admiring more and the writings by Prinz Michael von Liechtenstein, particularly when discussing free-market principles...
