HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 73

Most likely to be published early 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover below merely a working version....

PROEM & POEM No. 73 - Patriotism: Principle, Propaganda or Psychosis / 2nd Reprise

Void of principle thus riddled with propaganda, Patriotism infects the mind with an intellectual psychosis, in parallel incites instinct and inflames emotion to fervor and euphoria, soon preferring even embracing promulgated impressions, perceptions and outright deceptions over past actualities and present realities. This process could be some form of coercive brainwashing or prodding. However, fully engaged is the ability to reason thus comparing, concluding, choosing and consenting to this over that in one moment or that over this the subsequent moment (see No. 8), in this case, Patriotism’s alleged benefits over other considerations. It could be said Patriotism impairs the person to fully reason, just as it is said for psychosis. Therefore persons of both conditions are reasoning while impaired by a “defective or lost contact with reality.”

Patriotism is never without injurious objectives, always targeting lives, liberties and/or properties by the use of force executed by patriots. Patriotism is also never without propaganda, always schooling and training patriots to accept and justify the use of force. Ultimately, all are injured in various degrees, by the disrespect and disregard of the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

---

From myopic to psychotic then intended patriotic hexes
Complex further by poli-oral sex with oracles and rexes
Such apexes by duplexes to simplex per executive orders
Erected disorder of collected loners exuding social odors

---

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.
