HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 52

Most likely to be published early 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover below merely a working version....

PROEM & POEM No. 52 - To Emote is Common and Constant / 4th Reprise

Love, joy, surprise, anger, sadness, fear (a short and obviously debatable list), and of course other emotive responses or effects, often have seemingly common causes. However, mistakenly considered as commonly caused by academic categorizations of the same, often with convenient broad strokes for preferred theories and promulgated narratives.

It is one matter to study in this way for clues and hints for professional counsel, treatment upon diagnosis, or merely private, personal assistance of a friend or relative, as well casual chitchat at bars or cocktail parties, yet to be understood, all within unanimously agreeable contexts. It is quite another matter to study in this way with such rigor and rigidity for conjured propositions and perceived formulas, so to propagandize in history classes while socially engineering thus politically managing, manipulating even coercing mass populations, of course, without unanimously agreeable contexts.

Ultimately as well initially in this way as societies and governments continue, digressively intrusive, oppressive, destructive, categorically inhumane from first conception of it and decision for it, commonly disrespected and disregarded are the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

Sworn and born upon the Jeffersonian altar, eternal hatred
For each form of presumption adverse to the only right sacred
Isolated far above superfluous rights rooted in covetousness
Conjured rights suited for all (save one) Isms’ imperiousness

---

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.
