U.S. public education have so conditioned the American Mind...

U.S. public education have so conditioned the American Mind, when considering governmental changes and political solutions, the Imagination have been rendered to pursue no further than merely swapping the politician in office for another and/or swapping the major party in power for the other.

So obtuse the American Mind, when confronted with logical, ethical and sustainable arguments in favor of rescission, rescission and more rescission, the usual counter arguments always without evidence, without justification are returned; strawman, hypothetical, fantasy, chaotic, unsafe and more. The common attempt to explain their case often result to one-liners; "liberty must be regulated", "freedom must be responsible" (code for controlled), or my favorite, "you can't let people be free to do what they want!" Oddly of course, the same person per last quote would have no issue with people in government free to do what they want.

Consequently, this rudderless country long unprincipled will dullishly carry on, flipping back and forth between the two major parties, thus the same worn-out preparation for the midterm elections of 2022 as conducted many times during the 20th/21st centuries.

So how shall Memorial Day be honored and celebrated this year? Certainly not for the Liberty quickly tossed aside...

The promulgated narrative for 245 years; America fought and still fight the numerous wars first here then abroad to procure then protect Liberty. Accordingly, those of uniform were honored and celebrated upon the many Memorial and Veteran Days past.

However, fearfully even willingly and supportively Americans allowed Tyranny to reign for the last 15 months, so how shall Memorial Day be honored and celebrated this year? Certainly not for the Liberty quickly tossed aside to the gutter with no genuine regard for those who narratively fought for it.

SHAME on Americans for the forgoing of Liberty allegedly beloved per songs, hymns, anthems, pledges, speeches, declarations, statues and plagues. Yet worst, SHAME on Americans for the government wars fought NOT for Liberty but covetously, presumptuously waged even warmonger'ed for control, gain thus power, with no regard for those who fought in them, with no regard for those who died by them.

Liberty will never be restored by simply voting another politician into office, another party into power. For in so doing, today's grossly excessive governance here and abroad were preceded by decades of incremental excessiveness tolerated, allowed, preferred, supported even desired by both polity and citizenry. Rescission is the only logical, ethical as well sustainable remedy.

Quotes by Socrates, Aristotle, Einstein... the more I study the less I know... and regarding my forthcoming book and newly discovered scotch...

As attributed to Socrates, Einstein and some others, "The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know." Allow me to logically as well passionately affirm; the more I study the less I know!!!

So contrary to political opinion on popular issues; the science is never in but ongoing.

My last 2 published books on the Singular Human Right to Consent (or dissent) were necessary starting points, but merely starting points nonetheless thus "Proems & Poems" as appropriately entitled. The book-in-image hence work "Organon" by Aristotle is the 4th thus far read in preparation for my next book project, dozen-plus books yet to read by various logicians and syllogists mainly, as well ethicists, theologians, praxeologists, etc. I'm already understanding further depth in the logic, consistency, ethic therefore natural law, consequently divine institutions as referenced by 19th century economist Claude-Frédéric Bastiat.

"Now since the required ground of our knowledge---i.e. of our conviction---of a fact is the possession of such a syllogism... and the ground of the syllogism is the facts constituting its premises, we must not only know the primary premises---some if not all---beforehand, but know them better than the conclusion... So since the primary premises are the cause of our knowledge---i.e. of our conviction---it follows that we know them better---that is, are more convinced of them---than their consequences, precisely our knowledge of the latter is the effect of our knowledge of the premises."

Aristotle (384-322 BC, Posterior Analytics of his work Organon)

May I beseech thee for an "Amen!" :-) Admittedly, such studying, pondering, laboring endeavors are both blessing and curse as all endeavors pursued by mortals this side of heaven. However, I thank God for both!

And by the way, the drink depicted is a recent discovery on my part, a 12-year highland scotch whiskey Tomatin. I highly recommend it.

FEDERALIST PAPER NO. 84 versus BILL of RIGHTS... Alexander Hamilton was right!!!

As the pseudonym Publius, Mr. Hamilton wrote the following excerpt thereof as published by The Independent Journal, New York Packet and The Daily Advertiser in the summer of 1788...

"I go further, and affirm that bills of rights, in the sense and to the extent in which they are contended for, are not only unnecessary in the proposed Constitution, but would even be dangerous. They would contain various exceptions to powers not granted; and, on this very account, would afford a colorable pretext to claim more than were granted. For why declare that things shall not be done which there is no power to do? Why, for instance, should it be said that the liberty of the press shall not be restrained, when no power is given by which restrictions may be imposed? I will not contend that such a provision would confer a regulating power; but it is evident that it would furnish, to men disposed to usurp, a plausible pretense for claiming that power."

See link for the paper's entire text...
https://avalon.law.yale.edu/18th_century/fed84.asp

Both intention and effectiveness of the Bill of Rights was rightly questioned by only a few who had the logical foresight and ethical fortitude, even less considered today the particular history then and since until the present dire juncture.

E. A. POE by D.C. Quillan Stone, 7 October 2009

E. A. POE by D.C. Quillan Stone, 7 October 2009

Note:
One-hundred-sixty years ago today Edgar Allan Poe died in Baltimore upon suffering a mysterious illness, further clouded by various accounts regarding his condition and arrival to the city just prior his final days.

"Sit in a theatre, to see
A play of hopes and fears,
While the orchestra breathes fitfully"

E. A. Poe  (1809-1849)

What forms, what gods, what dogs whose howls
Echo from fitful scowls, issuing silent tremors
In spine and mind, the kind of angst or cruel humor
Sounding hellish snickers from clefts to chambers
Within a troubled brain in an atomic coma, stained
From tacit rain and feign acid, the brew, such bother
Rather, pen the verse, lace each rhyme with a curse
Once done the rune is spun, ah the latter rung
Harboring in the man the guile and raw survival
The art, wanting aesthetic or logic, is lecherous
While cancerous to thought and passion, wrought
By incongruities and prodigal paradoxes, circular
In locked linear, counter to spatial conjecture
The poetic lecture of warranted considerations
Laborious deliberations and prudent meditations
Espying clarity melded by intensity and consistency

"Heaving her white breast to the balmy air,
Like guilty beauty, chasten’d, and more fair"

E. A. Poe  (1809-1849)

Clashing tectonic pride of Self along raw fetches
That stretches throughout mortality’s lithosphere
It is here one hears Solitude weeping, mourning
Bewailing till muted morning with laconic clangor
And din to defend the hot hanker (fuck the swanker
Such the egotistic swollen swagger), and whether
Troubadours haggle the philosophical either/or
More or less in libertine sanctums, yet amidst jesters
There fester agape wounds occulted by jocularities
Staggering, stalking not the cleaved unclad mounds
Heaved in ethereal thin rounds across unctuous lines
His colloquy resigns to her corollary of pined sighs
Into febrile meandering maunders sputtered in foam

"You call it hope, that fire of fire!
It is but agony of desire"

E. A. Poe  (1809-1849)

(verse one)
To fondle the warmth is to venture the seer, the skin
Scarred and then, the soul returns to an empty urn
And learn the Lecturer’s lesson, lucubrate the lyrics

(chorus)
Assessing kindly kindle to acerbic ash
Attending splenetic ember to exhausted slag
Assaying torrid coal to tempered cinder

(bridge)
Remembering the kinetic annular commotion
Reminiscing the praxeology (the opined human action)
Retaining the gumption, contention, and passion

(verse two)
To desire the seducing liar or stiffening lover, lusting
Her libidinous kiss amid his firm musk and tender mist
The genteel fist undoing in the tryst under eiderdown

"I’d throw me on her throbbing breast,
And pour my spirit out in tears"

E. A. Poe  (1809-1849)

Mobbing the satin leaf on cotton piece, presaging
To release timid flesh upon flesh, a moaning mesh
Of khaki stresses and gypsy dresses, to carnal trances
The swelling billow crushing pillow and pride’s ride
Until surges the sudor and sob, offing the bête noire
The beast that lurks and skirts the cerebral rim
Along the lunatic’s fringe singed by zealous ways
Frayed and maimed by sex-beggars’ fingering
Groping in night’s quarantine, dodging serpentines
The raw rescue drawing him to her scented fescue
Coaxing his coxswain hung between sinew and soul
Through the friction to attrition till swooned languor
A placid swell upon breasts and drift mid the urges

"Be silent in that solitude,
Which is not loneliness"

E. A. Poe  (1809-1849)

Ramble and stumble upon verisimilitudes hidden
Oft eluding, then disclosing, always troubling
To enthusiasts, antagonists, ultraists, and pessimists
Critics gawk, fanatics mock, and politics scoff
All birthed in strife, swaddled in rife, suckling vigor
The man-child, from grave cradle to mausoleum
Pricks and stems gripped, for pain nullifies death
Till consummating in solitude divined in loneliness
Fitly a cleric’s tower, lover’s ledge, and poet’s cafe

Preparing for this evening's Gentleman's Whiskey, Tobacco and Poetry night... :-)

This will be the 10th such event at my home over the last 5-6 years. Somewhat inspired by the 2015 book "Bandersnatch: C.S. Lewis, J.R.R. Tolkien, and the Creative Collaboration of the Inklings" by Diana Pavlac Glyer. But the notion long stirred in my head per The Belfast Group that formed in 1963 consisting of poets, particularly Seamus Heaney (1939-2013), as well informal gatherings at lounges, cafes, diners, flats, farms by poets of the Beat Era, Lost Generation, Noigandres and Concrete artists in Sao Paulo, Parnassianism and Bohemianism in Paris and Berlin then Modernmissio in Buenos Aires, the Classics of course, and many more.

"Scatter as from an unextinguished hearth
Ashes and sparks, my words among mankind!
Be through my lips to unawakened Earth
The trumpet of a prophecy!"

Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)

Private property my country, family and friends my countrymen, consequently the sweaty, dirty, bloody, long worn shirt-off-back my flag...

Private property my country, family and friends my countrymen, consequently the sweaty, dirty, bloody, long worn shirt-off-back my flag, for upon a rustic post centered in my domain I have nailed that banner however tattered, patched, frayed, stained, worked thus ragged while individually, completely purchased. I pledge allegiance to no other!

As published in my 11th book...

BILL of RIGHT

If such understanding forms and foments, then solely amid ceaseless study, ponder and labor, concluding first in part, later in whole, to logically respect then ethically regard, hence fervently declaring then firmly establishing in this manner.

The propensity, preference and persistence upon observable practice by Each and Every Individual since first reasoned the Specie Human and Peculiar above all other species, thus consistently inclining, constantly insisting the Singular Right to Consent or Dissent regarding Each and Every Matter, indeed without exception as exemplified per unwanted prevention, unacceptable prohibition, undesirable preemption, unwelcomed intervention, unwarranted retroaction by persons ever covetous as well parties ever contemptuous whether private, religious, philosophical, economical, social, political, governmental and more.

Rights are conjured, save the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, hence either applicably erroneous or worst...

Proem & Poem No. 36 - Nature Amoral / 1st Reprise (taken from my 10th book)

Clearly, Nature provides water by streams and lakes, meat by fish and game, wild grains, nuts and berries by fields, meadows and forests, however not always and not everywhere. These necessities for sustenance are not available for human consumption without much human labor. Simply, if someone is to eat, someone must work; fetch, dig, hunt, raise, gather, plow, etc. Meanwhile, Nature is judged neither kind nor cruel if one feasts or starves, rather, one’s labor is judged as either successful or unsuccessful, sustainable or unsustainable.

It is precisely here as one stands alone, lists or bills of rights become irrelevant even ridiculous for discussion. The arrogant may demand rights from God or Nature to be fed, clothed or housed, nevertheless a fool starved, naked and exposed. Therefore rights plural are not inherently natural or divine, rather quite arrogant and arbitrary, robbing by some from the labor of others.

It follows, rights are conjured, save the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, hence either applicably erroneous (see Proems No. 19-21) or worst, requiring commodities and services by forceful measures. By so doing, the one aforementioned right of course is disregarded, inseparably disrespecting the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason.

His worst, headfirst seemingly, inescapably inclined

Ever-empirical-izing it’s zen, oft mistaken as quiescent

All Isms save one can be summed up as Collectivism imposed by Centralism...

Proem & Poem No. 95 - Sum of All Isms / Reprise (taken from my 10th book)

All Isms save one can be summed up as Collectivism imposed by Centralism, that is to say, the presumptuous use of political force by the consenting one, some, few, many or most upon the dissenting others. By using weapons of mass destruction, the Economic Bomb (central banking, see Nos. 81-82, 91-92) and the Academic Bomb (central/public education, Nos. 93-94), far reaching policies are exacted upon the whole economy and entire citizenry, resulting to weak otherwise sound currency while weak otherwise sound mind (Nos. 5, 71-73).

The ism Democracy, per the consenting many or most, is no more justified than Monarchy, Aristocracy, Plutocracy, Oligarchy, Meritocracy, Theocracy (and more) per the consenting one, some or few. Similarly, while shrewdly appearing benevolent and preventive, Socialism and Paternalism are no more justified, whether dependent upon the forceful implementations Cronyism, Fascism or Communism, than the obviously destructive Militarism and evidently intrusive Police-Statism also dependent on the same isms.

To imperatively belabor the point, all Isms inherently, unavoidably, unethically even monstrously disrespect and disregard the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, although save one; Individualism.

Empirically inescapable the conflict between political presumption versus personal prerogative...

Proem & Poem No. 100 - So What Is Individualism / Reprise (taken from my 10th book)

As part of any family, clan, social club, religious organization, ideological institution, school or university, political party or government, country or union, a person never ceases to be individual. Even upon acquiescing and subjecting individuality to collectivity, a person never ceases to reason thus consent (or not) to arrangements, that is, weighing cost versus benefit among options, whether under threat of nonpolitical violence or political force versus the absence of the same. Such naturally logical deliberations by innately reasonable individuals precede and coincide all collective arrangements, for both initial and continual participation. Collective action thus existence depends on individual action thus existence. If not so, then why Collectives’ ever-present and ever-growing expense to convince as well coerce both consenting Individuals as well dissenting Individuals also ever-present and ever-growing?

Again, for as much those among polity reason and consent to “this or that” for themselves and presumptuously on behalf of others, so equally do those among the citizenry reason and consent to “that or this” for themselves. Empirically inescapable the conflict between political presumption versus personal prerogative, for each and every person inwardly expects as well outwardly demands the respect and regard for their own Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

Societies have arrived to rightly understand the absolute necessity for mutual consent regarding sexual activity, yet...

Quote and installment taken from my latest book appropriately More Proems & Poems on the Peculiar Human ABILITY to REASON, Singular Human RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters (Feb 2021) following the topical prequel and 10th book 100 Proems & Poems on the same....

Proem & Poem No. 121 - Ethics versus Politics

Per many comments against Politics the question is often posed “am I not political as well?” It is a fair howbeit misguided question, but “No!” to logically, respectively clarify. For it is not political and not forceful therefore quite ethical to support the restoration of liberty and responsibility to each individual by rescinding laws, policies, programs, regulations, taxes, etc. In contrast, it is quite political and quite forceful therefore not ethical to support the reduction of liberty and responsibility for each individual by legislating laws, policies, programs, regulations, taxes, etc.

Is this conveniently and arbitrarily playing with words? Allow this poet to answer with additional questions. Is it playing with words to consistently consider violence as any action exacted without the consent of all involved? Is it playing with words to consistently categorize and criticize all political and criminal forms of force as violence? On the other hand, perchance it is playing with words to inconsistently justify "this" action against the dissented as political however "that" action against the dissented as criminal, "this" confiscation as taxation although "that" confiscation as robbery, while "this" termination as mass murder yet "that" termination as collateral damage. Maybe it is playing with words when one partisan group planks together various means to use force as the Republican platform, in parallel to a second partisan group planking together various means to use force as the Democrat platform. And just perhaps it is playing with words to declare as honorable a preferred president or congress endowed with excessive powers consented at most by a majority, although decry as horrible another president or congress endowed with the same excessive powers also consented at most by a majority. Shall this poet go on, for examples and comparisons evidence incalculably many as the political abuses often distinctively deemed but quite logically similar it would seem.

To relate (or rant) thematically, it is astonishing at times appalling to observe. Societies have arrived to rightly understand the absolute necessity for mutual consent regarding sexual activity, yet toss the understanding aside for most (if not all) other aspects of life private, public, social, political, economic, religious and more. Worse, the disregard is embraced even esteemed as conservative, moderate, liberal, progressive, patriotic, moral, theological, while academically concocted then distilled into all sorts of contrivances shrewdly, tediously thus convolutedly arranged then referenced as indisputable moralities, ideologies, rights, isms, theories confounded by unquestionable insights, sentiments, mysteries and spiritualities if expedient.

---

Diminishing moral standing, whilst presumptuously ranting
Thereupon arrogantly jester’ing, along with the pestering
Foolishly festering, brutishly retorting thus resorting to wars
Owing to commodious addictions, liken junkies and whores

Talking heads on crack, walking dead choir-robed in black
Academes bulkhead’ing knowledge, dissing the logical flack
As marginal quacks (ah, the debris of colonial powers dying
Patriots of Dogma thus rushing, headlong to prolong the lying)

To sip from goblets the wine, the blood, strained from mud
Well fermented, swelled and scented, like virginity’s rosebud
Though quelled and resented, innocence compelled and sold
Into polity’s harlotry to burlesque arabesque naivety’s wold

What is politics? Instead of you using your own cattle prod to presumptuously herd other people..., you vote for politicians thus laws, regulations, policies, programs...

Proem & Poem 101 - What Is Politics

What is politics? Instead of you putting your own pistol to someone's head forcing their behavior and/or extorting their possession to satisfy your preference, you vote for politicians thus laws, regulations, policies, programs, licenses, taxes, fees, fines, bans, sanctions and more that put police officers, agents or soldiers’ guns to others’ heads forcing their behavior and/or extorting their possession to satisfy your preference.

What is politics? Instead of you using your own cattle prod to presumptuously herd other people as though solely instinctive nonhuman specie, corralling them into your preferred ism, environment or society, you vote for politicians thus laws, regulations, policies, programs, licenses, taxes, fees, fines, bans, sanctions and more that use police officers, agents and soldiers’ batons and rifle-butts to presumptuously herd other people as though solely instinctive nonhuman specie, corralling them into your preferred ism, environment or society.

What is politics? Instead of you disregarding others' Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent on all matters, thus disrespecting others' Peculiar Human Ability to Reason on all matters, you vote for politicians thus laws, regulations, policies, programs, licences, taxes, fees, fines, bans, sanctions and more, hence necessitating police officers, agents or soldiers to disregard on your behalf others' Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent on all matters, thus disrespecting on your behalf others' Peculiar Human Ability to Reason on all matters.

Who does Politicism ignore, dismiss, redefine, critique, protest, belittle, ridicule, slander even resent, loathe, despise, hate per covetous propaganda? Who does Politicism hinder, trample, restrain, shackle, castrate, enslave even terminate in various forms abortive, euthanasic, incarcerative, capitally punitive, offensively militaristic, genocidal or holocaustic per avaricious promulgation? Who is Politicism’s analytic censor as well instinctive contender? Individualism of course, or the Individual, that is to literally say, each and every person. To reiterate alternatively, the “who” is the specie human thus individual, antecedent to arrangements communal (if unanimously deemed beneficial), peculiarly able to reason and conclude therefore singularly rightful to consent or dissent, and will do so accordingly, consistently, universally, persistently and if necessary quite insistently.

---

O wrested struggle within, the Schaeffer’ian climax to append
To Self ego’ed in glass darkly, aside the Last of the Mosaic Ten
Covetousness haunts the shadowy end of Man’s dimly lit hall
Relentless the gall and Psychosis’ writ as graffito holy on walls

Spirituality truly spewed hence Individuality thoroughly strewn
Humanity’s essence spat upon, scorned long then dragooned
Must not attune, must not contend propaganda’s grandness
Must not portend (empirically) Bastiat’s forewarned madness

It is only by inhumane presumption one can respect and regard their own capability to reason, their own prerogative to consent or not consent, as superior to others...

Quote and installment taken from my 10th book appropriately 100 Proems & Poems on the Peculiar Human ABILITY to REASON, Singular Human RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters (Aug 2018) preceding the topical sequel and 11th book More Proems & Poems on the same....

Proem & Poem No. 51 - To Emote is Common and Constant / 3rd Reprise

The complexity is inestimable enough when observing and pondering individual actions per instinctive and reasonable dynamics ever-present, more so when including the emotive dynamic also ever-present. So it should be expected the ever-changing individual preferences as well necessities (categorically preferences of higher priority) per spaces along timelines. To state differently, individual preferences per an individual occupying a point in space (x1,y1,z1)  and point in time (t1) versus the same or another point in space (x2,y2,z2) and subsequent point in time (t2).

Every individual is in constant multitasking mode if you will, reasonably, instinctively and emotively, thereupon analyzing, prioritizing, choosing, that is to say, uniquely consenting or not consenting. It is only by inhumane presumption one can respect and regard their own capability to reason, their own prerogative to consent or not consent, as superior to others. The resulting action is coercion, nothing less than egregious imposition, intervention or prevention of liberty, flagitious destruction of property and/or monstrous termination of life.

Arguably, it is suffice to simply mark such contemptuous force as the disrespect and disregard of others’ Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

All actions Past, Present thus Future are judged without exception as rightful, moral or ethical by those involved or affected per Reason manifested by Consent or Dissent...

Confession II - Study of God by Study of Man

Per merely observing and/or extensively studying the Present as well the Past, there arose an acknowledgement of self-evident truths, that is, inescapable causalities amid all Individuals acting, always upon all Individuals consenting (or not), inseparably all Individuals reasoning, therefore quite normal and synonymously logical for Human intelligence to conclude determinable Consistencies to measurably discern, beneficially estimate even accurately predict the Future (see Nos. 6-10, 22-29, 33-34).

Importantly more, all actions Past, Present thus Future are judged without exception as rightful, moral or ethical by those involved or affected per Reason manifested by Consent or Dissent, a commonly ignored consistency nonetheless universally constant. So consistent the constant (if you will), a scientific mind would conclude theories initially, principles eventually. Further examination would favor singularity over plurality as well, upon questioning and rejecting each and every proposed morality, ethic or right, superseded by the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, inseparably the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason.

To go further still, diligence would duly note the subtle yet prompt dynamic(s), the Singular Right or Ethic to Consent or Not Consent, governing as law all encounters between two Individuals or more. Already engaged is this Law as two or more Individuals prepare, approach or happen upon an encounter, as well linger beyond departure until irrelevant or forgotten the event or action. The firstly mentioned parallel is uncanny, by two or three witnesses shall every word be established (2 Co 13:1), likewise by two, three or more encountering shall every action be judged.

Alternatively, the aforementioned Condition, Dynamic, Law or Ethic precedes, endures as well succeeds the Human Now, by preceding, enduring and succeeding every Human Encounter, innately therefore irresistibly judged by every Participant Individually. Hence, the secondly mentioned parallel is as uncanny if not more profoundly. As God is theologically, reasonably then logically revered per the inseparable characteristics Omnipresent, Omniscient thus Omnipotent, likewise Individuals expectantly, reasonably then logically judge by the Singular Human Right to Consent or Dissent, a Condition, Dynamic, Law or Ethic seemingly as divinely Omnipresent, Omniscient thus Omnipotent, that is, ever-present, ever-revealing and ever-exacting comparatively to the Non-omnipresent, Non-omniscient thus Non-omnipotent. To elaborate risking redundancy, an apostle once rightly attached to the Former, as could be empirically said of the latter, the elementary antiphon; the same yesterday, and today, and forever (He 13:8).

It is of course reasonable to say God the Creator is arguably revealed by logical studies of His creations physical, geological, astronomical, biological, botanical, zoological, anatomical, and more as composed by the psalmist; when look(ing) at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established (Ps 8:3,4). However, it is reasonable to say God the Creator is convincingly revealed by logical studies of His one Creation individual, psychological, intellectual, innovational, social, economical, and more as well combined praxeological as scribed perhaps implied by an apostle; what may be known of God is manifest…, for since the creation of the world his invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead (Ro 1:19,20).

---

Study of God by study of man, sound design, not by flesh
Manifested yet in flesh; human actions threshed then enmeshed
`Tween competing interests, thereby Ethic arises by the threats
Consent or Dissent mid bloodless conflicts by sweated respect

Firstly, we are inherently aware of the human preference to consent... Secondly, we are strangely, quite darkly perverted...

Commentary II - Subjected, Enslaved, Citizen’ed

Like infants subjected by birth on the King's sovereign land, bound to obey and work else be severely punished, without consent of the parents or child. Like infants enslaved by birth on the Master's owned land, bound to obey and work else be severely punished, without consent of the parents or child. So are infants citizen'ed by birth on the State's governed lands, bound to obey legislative laws, bureaucratic regulations, judicial decisions and executive orders, sacrificially work per taxes, fees, fines, tariffs else be severely punished, without consent of the parents or child.

Were they subjects to Kings, slaves to Masters or citizens to States by consent? No! Identically, one (born here) is not an American by choice therefore do not consent to the political, social, public arrangement called United States. The infants in all three scenarios, if not becoming restlessly resentful, may resign to the coercion or imposed arrangements over time, but to resign is not the same as to consent.

Some would say I am and should feel duty bound as a Citizen, Patriot, that is, to be a true American. To that I retort. Am I duty bound to an uninvited intrusion by anyone into my home without my consent. Am I duty bound to unwanted demands by anyone for my money, food, clothes, possessions and property without my consent? Am I duty bound to an undesirable sexual activity with anyone without my consent? Am I duty bound to ________  (fill in the blank) involving anyone without my consent? No, no, no and NO!

The mere raising of imaginary differences between the aforementioned examples and political systems/processes, is indicative of a person's political and social inconsistencies certainly, but of ethical and moral lack as well. So I ask...

Why then do we justify political arrangements per arbitrary democratic processes or majority rule's brutish forces, when there are always those who consent of course, but there are always those who do NOT consent or dissent. Do we not resent the method when resulting to travel bans, immigration restrictions or taxes, yet embrace the same method when resulting to healthcare programs, park/highway projects or wars? Unfortunately, the political/social dichotomies can be endlessly exemplified, thus the dire state of affairs.

Our inconsistencies suggest two noteworthy facts. Firstly, we are inherently aware of the human preference to consent or not consent (dissent) on all matters, for it is affirmed by our contentment even happiness when situations are so, sadness even anger when it is not. To go empirically further, we determine right versus wrong, moral versus immoral, by our consent versus dissent. Secondly, we are strangely, quite darkly perverted, for when content or happy per our satiated preferences, others' denied preferences thus their sadness and anger, are of little or no concern.

Subjects to kings, slaves to masters, citizens to states
Coveting the things by alabaster lies for wanton fetes
Emotions cascade per cases made upon fabrications
Elaborated then exasperated, for mass promulgations

Common sense or analytic experiential and uncommon sense or analytic logical can be so only by...

Studiously preparing for my next book project, thus books as Thinking as a Science by Henry Hazlitt (1894-1993), Elementary Lessons in Logic: Deductive and Inductive by William Stanley Jevons (1835-1882), Isagoge by Porphyry the Phoenician of Tyre (234-305 AD), and currently, Organon by Aristotle (384–322 BC), with 10+ more books yet read. The following are considerations as I "think out loud" while studying, pondering, laboring towards the articulation, exactness, conciseness, precision, consistency of thought on the matter, although such objectives ever elusive per the human propensities for error and excess (the Sin/Depravity of Man if you will). And so per notes scribbled late last night with a bottle of scotch...

"Common sense or analytic experiential can be so only by expanding one's burden of responsibility and risk from minimally upon childhood to partially upon adolescence to fully upon adulthood. Contingently of course, for if not fully then the developing and understanding of the same will be stunted, reduced then (nearly) irreversibly disabled.

If the aforementioned as the unavoidable prerequisite, then...

Uncommon sense or analytic logical can be so only by first expanding one's language hence vocabulary (literally words and definitions), then second by expanding one's systematic, syllogistic use of language and vocabulary ergo phrasing, structuring, conditioning, proposing, predicating, determining, concluding, and third by expanding one's indirect observation hence knowledge (i.e. pre-birth history) and one's direct observation hence knowledge (i.e. post-birth history)."

More to come as I wrestle over this book project. :-)

Quote by Sam Houston. Painting by Rudolf Koller. Commentary on Individualism...

"Texas can make it without the United States, but the United States cannot make it without Texas."

Sam Houston (1793-1863)

It is true, such quotes by cinematically depicted giants of North America history are often the fusion of evidence, folklore, melodrama amid contradiction, making impossible the distinctions, yet the words logically noteworthy nonetheless.

For it is also true, the nation did not form the states but the states formed the nation, just as cities and counties formed the states, families and communities formed the cities and counties, and hardy, rough-and-ready individualists formed the families and communities.

Societies are preceded by communities, particularly families upon the union by pledge thus mutual consent of two individuals. Thereby the entire social structure rests, morally founded by unanimous agreement, morally framed, sustained then maintained by such perpetually consensual mutuality or unanimity.

All other societal propositions then impositions immediately or inevitably however unavoidably disregard then violate the one ethic hence singular human right to consent or dissent on all matters, as determined by the peculiar human ability to reason.

Just a few of my pencil sketches during the last 2+ years...

Just a few of my pencil sketches during the last 2+ years. May combine them with poems or a 100-150 page poetic epic for another book project... I don't know... Verses below from my 9th book...

O to learn from past spurns, withal, hearts always callow
Within fervor’s fury, Passion smolders as cloth in tallow
Beguiled, wiled, maybe a bit maudlin (often lovers’ coffin)
Such uncoiling as mortals collide, an erotic storm therein

Singed wings by old flings, or some other goddamn thing
Wounds to scars, hang far into mind, on sullied brass rings
Liken black-lighted rooms, archetypal galleries of Self-art
Jungian pelf on psychotic carts, pile high as none departs

No one imparts dissimilar, for bent as this is quite familiar
Mortals’ birthright, Strife (oft miswritten as Life), millers
As such, and much if not all, burns as fire, as well warms
Ill, fraught, still sought, some reason amid passion’s norms

Two souls stumble and struggle, past the doors and closets
Down Fear’s hall, groping mid walls scrawled with posits
Harshest of truths, rarely sleuthed, either animus or anima
Keener incubus, or inner vox humana as morning’s manna

Article by Prinz Michael von Liechtenstein, then quote by Ludwig von Mises...

"But the Spanish state expanded so much that it required higher taxes, which in turn led to inflation. The defeat of the Armada around the British Isles was not the cause of this decline, but a symptom."

Prinz Michael von Liechtenstein (see link for entire article)

Good comparison!

Thus the assessment of the economically declining country, United States (my country unfortunately). It will be someday inaccurately written by many how the American Empire fell per a singular event or condition; pandemic, racial divide, political corruption, governmental tyranny, market crash(es) per speculation (i.e. market gone wild), street violence, rioting, war(s) and more. Any of these Armada-esque events or conditions are quite detrimental, harmful yet categorically, simply symptomatic of routine monetarism therefore inflationism so to enable government's various forms of expansionism. As Ludwig von Mises (1881-1973) rightly critiqued...

"Just as the sound money policy of gold standard advocates went hand in hand with liberalism, free trade, capitalism and peace, so is inflationism part and parcel of imperialism, militarism, protectionism, statism and socialism."
