Humanity's greatest ideological achievements

Tomorrow in Jackson, Mississippi, will be partaking once again in the centuries old tradition where minds of various backgrounds, ideas of various perspectives, convene to discuss, debate, lecture as well agree versus disagree, logically and respectfully, formally throughout the day, then less formally into the evening over beer, whiskey and tobacco. It is by such ways some of humanity's greatest ideological achievements were made possible whether political, philosophical, theological, economical, scientific, academic, literary/poetical and more.

President Trump impeached, tried, for what exactly?

19 years of inhumane warmongering, and President Trump is impeached by the House, now being tried by the Senate, over what exactly?

"I think you could reach in a bag and pull so many things out that are impeachable of this president." as Ms Ocasio-Cortez once smirked while smug during a podcast interview. When pushed to name three, she first identified "emoluments", then "tax fraud" followed by "um, man, number three?" out of her "bag of so many things that are impeachable". She is not alone by such claims bordering slander, lacking evidence upon grave inconsistency else simply vague. And she is clearly not alone by conveniently excluding the current president's inhumane warmongering as impeachable.

The impeachment mob postures boldly with great indignation per some undefined moral ground while equally lacking actual morality. For if so truly driven, should they and we not at least question Trump, Obama, Bush, along with their political war-hawk cronies if not stand trial.

Joe Rogan controversy

The only actual controversy (if you will) regarding Joe Rogan is his endorsement of Ron Paul several years ago versus his recent endorsement of Bernie Sanders. The endorsement of two politicians ideologically opposite should raise all sorts of questions, yet none are. Instead, the usual slanders upon unfounded accusations monopolize the public conversation. For political correctness, social sensitivity, arbitrary morality based on preferred politics are far more important preoccupations than economic decline, lost of privacy and property, wanton warmongering, bipartisan collusion, deep statism and more.

Impeachment trial arguments

Impeachment trial arguments regarding aid to Ukraine are arbitrary at best, completely political. For both parties have supported on many known as well unknown occasions the denying and providing of aid to another country's government for the sole purpose to bribe, influence, collude, manipulate even coerce for political gain.

If driven by principle, denying any country of US aid for any reason, particularly military funding, should never be a crime, while providing any country of US aid for any reason, particularly military funding, should always be a crime. A president or congressional member should be charged and convicted on this basis alone else not at all.

Of course, the far graver constitutional crisis still conveniently ignored by government, media and people; the nearly 20 years of inhumane warmongering thus mass slaughter, mass destruction causing one of the largest mass migration in history.

I loathe the idea of rights in the plural

Over the years while studying, pondering and laboring, I have come to logically, ethically thus passionately loathe the idea of rights in the plural. For by it comes to the common or conspiratorial mind an array of lists, bills, constitutions, declarations, documents, books, lectures, speeches as well clever interpretations and emotive rants amid callow imagination, covetous innovation then coercive implementation, consistently disregarding, constantly violating the sole individual right to consent or dissent on all matters.

Most likely to be published later this spring/summer of 2020, my 11th book entitled appropriately; More 100 Proems & Poems on the Peculiar Human ABILITY to REASON, Singular Human RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover a slightly modified yet appropriate version of the previous....

PROEM & POEM No. 135 - Pursuit of Happiness / 1st Reprise

Whether children coddled or enabled by parents, students pampered or unchallenged by teachers, employees carried or overlooked by employers as well citizens or companies subsidized by government’s policies, programs, loans, grants, bail outs and more, there abound various exasperated hazards per fantastical expectations, imprudent excesses, unrecognized errors, detrimental decisions, further complicated and compounded digressively, exponentially by moral distortions even ethical perversions.

For a moment, ponderously consider and precisely understand the word perversion by the most contemptible, abominable, barbarous, nefarious as well depraved, reprobated of definitions; for one to consent or dissent on all matters per his/her preference, yet remain discontented, disconcerted even disturbed until others act, speak even think compatibly, similarly by force legal or illegal. It is critical to include in consideration and understanding the word and sentiment covetousness as the indisputable perquisite to such perversion.

If to logically continue, it is not difficult to assume the state of discontentment therefore unhappiness as constant associates to covetousness per the latter’s inherently insatiable character. It matters not if covetousness achieves enjoyment, passing at least, at most lingering, however assuredly interrupted spinning vicious the cycle both internally and externally thereupon digressively and degenerately. If to remain unresolved then descend unchecked, envy and hate will undoubtedly rise and reign to heinously rule.

So it goes, whether children coddled or enabled by parents, students pampered or unchallenged by teachers, employees carried or overlooked by employers as well citizens or companies subsidized by government’s policies, programs, loans, grants, bail outs and more, all within psychological, emotional, intellectual, social, political as well economical bubbles then inevitably, unavoidably the personal and/or collective busts oft followed and compounded by decline, collapse and destruction.

Godfrey Bloom interviewed by Claudio Grass

Godfrey Bloom interviewed by Claudio Grass.....

"Public sector employees, academics, mainstream media, the political and bureaucratic establishment are lined up against ordinary working people. Butchers, bakers, mechanics, cab drivers, hairdressers, small businessmen, over 17 million of them, sent a strong and united message and showed where the division lines are really drawn in the nation.

The Times of London, the BBC and others are still campaigning for Remain. Even now, they still can’t accept the will of the electorate. And yet, ordinary folk are less divided than ever before in peacetime. But ordinary people don’t control the levers of power, and they don’t get to write headlines or determine the narrative that’s being promoted."

PROEM & POEM No. 138 - Pursuit of Happiness / 3rd Reprise

Given the nature of such matters undeniably individual, universally indefinable is happiness thus collectively innumerable are pursuits per preferences, objectives even necessities as concurrently incalculable, immeasurable even inestimable.

For among mortals theologically burdened with sins and depravities, philosophically laden with conditions non-omnipresent, non-omniscient hence non-omnipotent, and/or observably encumbered with propensities for error and excess; who can absolutely define happiness? Consequently, among mortals who can precisely enumerate pursuits upon absolutely defining happiness? And finally, among mortals who can exhaustively calculate, measure even estimate preferences, objectives even necessities after precisely enumerating pursuits upon absolutely defining happiness?

Yet pursuits of happiness obviously springing from individual preferences, objectives even necessities, are determined as rights quite illogically, emotionally, selfishly, arbitrarily, presumptuously, always erroneously, never unanimously, often popularly else oligarchically, thus legislatively followed by unethically forceful means to covetously advantageous ends.

PROEM & POEM No. 137 - Fierce Regard, Fervent Respect

Enforcement legal or illegal is the human activity preoccupying the enforcer’s unobservable attention and ultimate choice thus observable action per exerted labor as well expended resource towards controlling, conscripting and confiscating another’s behavior, labor and resource. Covetousness ever quick to present itself, consistently precedes and anticipates, continuously proceeds and participates then constantly succeeds and accelerates. However, well enabling the soul while equipping the mind to subjugate the common propensities for error and excess therefore covetousness, only the sound logic and profound ethic; the fierce regard for the Singular Human Right to Consent or Dissent on all matters thus the fervent respect for the Particular Human Ability to Reason.

"Although a monopolistic grant may openly and directly confer a privilege and exclude rivals, in the present day it is far more likely to be hidden or indirect, cloaked as a type of penalty on competitors, and represented as favorable to the “general welfare.” The effects of monopolistic grants are the same, however, whether they are direct or indirect."

PROEM & POEM No. 136 - Pursuit of Happiness / 2nd Reprise

Covetousness casts quite long a shadow indeed in soul and mind, although comparatively a mere passing twilight to the darkness upon Envy’s moonless wold along Hate’s bitterness so cold.

To state less metaphorically thus more practically, when responsibility and risk (see Nos. 117-120, 123) are mitigated communally, socially, religiously, economically, legally, militarily and/or politically, the actor and action becomes empowered informally by an enabling relative, friend, community, society, or empowered formally by voting booth, political office, enforcing agent, law, regulation, subsidy, and as such always corruptible. The moral vacancy left by mitigated responsibility and/or risk, is immediately occupied by the excessive tendency to think and act unrestrained. Conjured preference, developed perception even formulated principle regarding holiness, goodness, fairness (and more) cannot adequately nor marginally constrain nearly as much if at all as does the natural existence of responsibility and risk. It is important to note, it is not a matter of simple disappointment within the aforementioned set of dynamics, rather the ever elusive happiness, consequently the ever present unhappiness, sadness, gloom, depression even tortuous misery.

Facilitated of course by Covetousness’ insatiable hunger, unquenchable thirst therefore perpetual Discontentment chased by inevitable Resentment, thereupon further nurturing and maturing; the lustful paramours Envy and Hate.

---

Plight per fight for fright of mass might-makes-right
The fuckin’ blight upon kratocracy consequently trite
Complimentarily smiting the dissenting, the resenting
Those insisting the singular human right by consenting

Or not, the mortal lot as immortally sought thus spoken
The common grace and image, so the universal token
Although broken, per propensities for error and excess
If to forcibly mitigate or mend, then quite presumptuous

David Chappelle and Ricky Gervais, both are resonating among many

Whether it is David Chappelle's Netflix special Sticks & Stones or Ricky Gervais' 2020 Golden Globe monologue, both are resonating among many reasonable thus moderate right/conservative as well left/liberal sympathizers. Not so much for content though that too in various degrees, but more so the presentation, the "fuck you, I don't care" posture respectively held by both comedians. Possibly, we are witnessing the horrid trend losing momentum to socially and journalistically "seek, censor and destroy" and worse, to conveniently silence for augmenting propaganda.

Why are these examples resonating? Largely it is due to the legitimate self-interest within us all; the prevailing, insatiable desire to speak freely, even when unknowingly contradicting that natural propensity by censoring others per some emotional principle, conjured morality or fabricated right. For censorship by any method for any objective is still inhumane censorship (yes, inhumane) with inevitable, detrimental consequences for first the censored then the censor.

Before those of the conservative persuasion gloat too much over the far-left implosion per this horrid trend, it was many among the far-right in the 1960s who favored censorship over alleged vulgarities by Lenny Bruce, Jim Morrison, and others, as well in the early/mid 2000s censorship of those critical of US warmongering. My point. The next time you are tempted to label and slander an opposing view as insensitive, hateful, misogynistic, fascistic, racist, socialistic, unpatriotic, Putin or Assad-sympathetic, and mindlessly so on, in order to merely shutdown the opinion and person, consider your self-interest, your own innate passion to speak freely.

Congressional members are hypocritically attempting to limit military

Congressional members are hypocritically attempting to limit military action against Iran, of course, more mindless anti-the-other-party fervor. For where were these same politicians when the 2009 Nobel Peace prize recipient and then-President Obama expanded the War OF Terror from 2 to 7 countries as well earning the gilded laurus nobilis Father of Drone Warfare, while without remorse even apology indiscriminately decimated hospitals, schools, buses, wedding parties and more.
Is it "better late than never", "too little, too late", or more likely a temporary, convenient posture until one of their own partisans is in the Oval Office, then it is back to warmongering as usual.

2nd Amendment and Article I, Section 8, Clause 11

Ironically, many who are constitutionally fervent thus defensive of the 2nd Amendment, offer little to no constitutional fervency and defense for Article I, Section 8, Clause 11. Just as those who were concerned and claimed a constitutional crises (though citing no specific passage) during the recent impeachment, have little to no such concern for either the 2nd Amendment or Article I, Section 8, Clause 11. These hypocrisies will persist inasmuch the two major parties and supporters insist making constitutional exceptions for political convenience and leverage.

With that said, the (2nd) constitution is a mere piece of paper, never unanimously supported then and since, therefore conditionally, inherently arbitrary festering, agitating, inciting hence manifesting as egregious inconsistencies.

PROEM & POEM No. 141 - Bill of Right / 2nd Reprise

Though well educated by government’s schools and universities, well disciplined by society’s fads, trends as well ever-changing norms and morals, the 21st century American mind gravely lacks the logically ethical character and imperatively self-reliant fortitude to critically thus properly distinguish between personal preference and individual right.

If the mere existence of debates regarding rights is not sufficient evidence, then surely the evidence is plain by the various arbitrary conclusions, various arbitrary enumerations, therefore various arbitrary preferences suspiciously sanctified as rights. Plainer still the evidence when products and services requiring others to laboriously produce and provide, are conveniently, covetously promulgated as basic human rights while belittling, slandering and demonizing anyone who questions, challenges or rejects

Yet, against all observable evidences, all logical arguments by many noteworthy philosophers, economists, professors, lecturers, thinkers, and writers since antiquities till present day, the 21st century American mind doltishly misses, brutishly disses or foolishly dismisses, particularly of the two majorly partisan persuasions polarized hence intensified.

Iraq War 3.0

Upon the 1st end of the Iraq War... "America sent you on a mission to remove a grave threat and to liberate an oppressed people, and that mission has been accomplished." --- President George W. Bush

Upon the 2nd end of the Iraq War, though earlier he called it 'dumb' then later declared it 'successful'... "One of the most extraordinary chapters in the history of the American military will come to an end. Iraq's future will be in the hands of its people. America's war in Iraq will be over." --- President Barack Obama

Upon the 3rd beginning of the Iraq War, claiming he is not instigating per political sleight of hand, though in the past he called it a 'bad decision'... "We took action last night to stop a war. We did not take action to start a war (however) the response for a military action is a military action." --- President Donald Trump

With plenteous leaks, whistle-blowers and most recently the Afghanistan Papers, debunking every justification for the last near-20 years of war, yet my delusional fellow Americans stand arrogant and ready to believe more goddamn lies, of course swallowing the hook, line as well sinker...

PROEM & POEM No. 140 - Bill of Right / 1st Reprise

All other rights as billed or listed among various governmental constitutions, political documents and international declarations are either redundantly unnecessary, thus compound and complex the argument if enumerated, or more likely disrespects and disregards the singular human right therefore violent towards the individual. To historically affirm, consider Federalist Paper No. 84, originally published during the summer of 1788 by The Independent Journal, New York Packet and The Daily Advertiser under the pseudonym Publius, otherwise known as Alexander Hamilton, hence the following excerpt…

I go further, and affirm that bills of rights, in the sense and to the extent in which they are contended for, are not only unnecessary in the proposed Constitution, but would even be dangerous. They would contain various exceptions to powers not granted; and, on this very account, would afford a colorable pretext to claim more than were granted. For why declare that things shall not be done which there is no power to do? Why, for instance, should it be said that the liberty of the press shall not be restrained, when no power is given by which restrictions may be imposed? I will not contend that such a provision would confer a regulating power; but it is evident that it would furnish, to men disposed to usurp, a plausible pretense for claiming that power.

Generally this poet ideologically despises Alexander Hamilton, although his insight expressed in Federalist Paper No. 84 is not only noteworthy among other such papers but quite logically prophetic as well. History demonstrates time and time again the predicted abuse by the U.S. government as covetously, presumptuously, arrogantly thus violently continued to this day.

---

O Publius, the one gem deterred, not thy alter-whims
Consolidating schemes upon themes of federalist vim
Yet rightly dividing as unnecessary even dangerous
Rights enumerated, hence allowing purposes devious
