Just a few among many books I have read...

Just a few among many books I have read thus recommend, contributing to my inevitable, irreversible conclusion and book project regarding the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent applying consistently to all matters intimate, private, philosophical, spiritual, theological, public, social, political, consequently, ethical...

... Most of the above books are freely available in pdf, epub and/or kindle formats by Mises Institute, an institution I recommend along with the books...

... I cannot exclude the essays that provided a more direct compass to the eventual reading to the above works. Essays such as The Law by Frédéric Bastiat, Vices Are Not Crimes by Lysander Spooner, as well a 1967 Christmas Eve sermon by Martin Luther King Jr. where he preached and practiced, "We must pursue peaceful ends through peaceful means. All of this is saying that, in the final analysis, means and ends must cohere because the end is preexistent in the means, and ultimately destructive means cannot bring about constructive ends." I discovered the economists, philosophers, historians and thinkers represented by these books supported and argued this point similarly yet economically, philosophically, historically, logically therefore consistently and ethically...

... I would be remiss if I did not mention at least the below books of considerations more theological, as well the biblical verses known as the Book of John, that undeniably led to the reading of the aforementioned writings....

HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 90

Most likely to be published later this spring of 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover below merely a working version....

PROEM & POEM No. 90 - What Is Tyranny, What Is Slavery / 5th Reprise

As one last point although it is certainly not the final point or example historically, empirically thus exhaustively. The inhumanity by all forms of Tyranny (i.e. all Isms save one, see Nos. 32, 54-70, 74-80) are furthered by the common characteristic of time, that is, the victims’ unpredictable length of life between womb and tomb hence the inestimable percentage of time lost by forceful imposition or confiscation.

On one hand, under the yoke of Slavery, the monstrosity could be judged more severely upon each passing year; the lifetimes of a 70 year old slave versus a 30 year slave. That is, if it is possible to logically, ethically compare monstrosities in such ways. Hence the obvious answer in the question; is it any less horrific the enslavement of either’s time without consent.

On the other hand, under the yoke of Tyranny, conscription of service as one of many examples, the monstrosity could be judged less severely upon each passing year; the lifetimes of a 70 year old citizen having served 5 years versus a 30 year citizen having served 5 years. That is, if it is possible to logically, ethically compare monstrosities in such ways. Hence the obvious answer in the question; is it any less horrific the forceful conscription of either’s time without consent.

Immorality heightened per individual life lessened
Shortened always unforeseen `low winters’ crescents
Polities’ ever present o’er womb to tomb and beyond
Covetously fond of all hence all unable to abscond

HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 89

89 - What Is Tyranny, What Is Slavery / 4th Reprise

It is astonishing how many will read and agree with the preceding installments, yet still hold to politics that logically, ethically even monstrously contradict. They reject of course the brutality of whips and chains to force people to work 1, 8 or 24 hours a day, while accepting the equal brutality of taxation and expropriation to force people to forego part or all work expended in forms of levied monies, possessions, properties, etc.

By such tyranny or enforced foregoing of labor indirectly, similarly, by such slavery or enforced foregoing of labor directly, time is inhumanely taken, forever unrecoverable per both means, as it is for theft, rape, murder or any other act coercive thus violent, exacted upon dissenting victims. To rightly expand, the legal, social, religious, sentimental, emotional even popular (democratic) context, as well (perceived) moral objective or common good, do not lessen the ethical dilemma ever present amid any act of force always disrespecting and disregarding the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

Consistently monstrous, the end result of Tyranny (all Isms save one, see Nos. 32, 54-70, 74-80) and Slavery are the same, regardless how either are dressed and adorned by the various misguided even nonsensical Isms.

---

Flesh and blood threshed in mud `low glorious rains
Among gregarious refrains, chicaned till coup de main
Schisms wage, isms arrayed as swains yet bane to one
Lies spun, truth shunned thus individualism overrun

HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 88

88 - What Is Tyranny, What Is Slavery / 3rd Reprise

What Tyranny or Slavery is not? It is one's negotiation to benefit by mutually agreeable exchange from another's time or products of time (i.e. monies, possessions, properties, etc.) of course with the consent of both. At length, it is one's negotiation to benefit by mutually agreeable exchange from another's exertions of all sorts physical, economical, sexual, intellectual, psychological, emotional, etc. of course with the consent of both.

Work types, conditions, compensations and more do not affirm nor disaffirm tyranny or slavery. Work measured in hours, days, weeks, months, years or lifetimes do not affirm nor disaffirm tyranny or slavery. Work undesirable even inconvenient, difficult, intolerable, dangerous and more do not affirm nor disaffirm tyranny or slavery. Consequently, work per dire necessity so to sustain, that is to say, to eat, to clothe, to house and more, do not affirm nor disaffirm tyranny or slavery. Consent alone disaffirms tyranny or slavery, that is to say, the regard for the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, inseparably the respect for the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason.

O the snares mid lairs per laws copious as ox’s hairs
Dubious even odious, fear them as tigers and prepare
Woe to bear the fares by socio-wars and poli-brawls
Upon fiscal rows then rifts unto fiat’s imminent squall

PROEM & POEM No. 87 - What Is Tyranny, What Is Slavery / 2nd Reprise

What is Tyranny or Slavery? It is one's presumption to benefit by unilaterally exacted force from another's time or products of time (i.e. monies, possessions, properties, etc.) of course without the latter's consent. At length, it is one's presumption to benefit by unilaterally exacted force from another's exertions of all sorts physical, economical, sexual, intellectual, psychological, emotional, etc. of course without the latter's consent.

HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 86

86 - What Is Tyranny, What Is Slavery / 1st Reprise

Compare and equate further by including as Slavery’s perpetrators and benefactors the slave owners, families/friends, taskmasters (policy enforcers), merchants, political accomplices, and more as well an array of supporters appeased by gifts, banquets/parties, donations, patronages, wills, etc. Compare and equate further still by including as Tyranny’s perpetrators and benefactors the kings, dictators, prime ministers, presidents, counsels, parties, parliaments, congresses, bureaucrats (policy enforcers along with police and military), contractors, cronies, social accomplices and more as well an array of supporters appeased by funds, grants, loans, subsidies, entitlements, etc.

Now compare and equate yet again Slavery with Tyranny by considering their common objective(s); to presumptuously benefit from others’ labor in various measures partial or total, by forcefully confiscating products and wages, as well forcefully conscripting their services. Alternatively, it is the same as saying the confiscation and conscription of all human time in the form of slavery, or a percentage of human time in the form of taxation, impoundment, incarceration, military draft, nationalization of companies or industries and so on, always preceded knowingly or unknowingly by the disrespect and disregard the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

Te Deum laudamus” hence “Te Vexillum spondemus”

HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 85

85 - What Is Tyranny, What Is Slavery

What is Tyranny (see Nos. 2-4) if not the question; what is Slavery (see No. 1)? The distinction being merely semantics, both are presumption to forcefully impose upon one by another regarding any or all matters. Is it more or less unethical if one enslaves ninety-nine versus ninety-nine enslaving just one? So it should be equally stressed, is it more or less unethical if one tyrannizes ninety-nine versus ninety-nine tyrannizing just one? To go further, is it more or less unethical if one despotically rules 999,999 or more without their consent, versus 999,999 or more democratically ruling just one without his/her consent?

Tyranny is not a matter of effected numbers nor decisional/political processes (i.e. monarchy/oligarchy versus democracy), that is, the few or the many presumptuously lording over those remaining, rather, it is a matter of disregarding one or more individuals’ Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent on any and all matters. Inseparably, these same disregarded individuals’ Peculiar Human Ability to Reason is disrespected gravely even inhumanely, for what is Consent or Dissent if not the sole expression or conclusion of Reason (see Nos. 8-10, 33, 34). The gravity even inhumanity of such is by the disregard thus disrespect of that which distinguishes the one specie human and reasonable (see No. 23, 34, 48) among all other species nonhuman and instinctive. In this way, it is humans monstrously lowering other humans to animals to be prodded and herded towards the former’s preferences.

---

Citizenry and laity colluding thus “Te Deum laudamus
Nonetheless, the Natural Grace they effaced by distrust
Assayed as rust, tossed like dross, hot the fuss till gone
The thrill’s final dawn, upon twilight forever and anon

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 84

84 - What Is Murder, Rape, Slavery and Theft / 2nd Reprise

Consequently, what are rape, slavery and theft if not sexual activity, employment, labor, duty as well barter, purchase, loan, gift, charity, and all other exchanges without Consent? In contrast, what are procreation and recreational intercourse, compensated and volunteered work, frugal and extravagant transactions, if not activities involving two or more with unanimous Consent. Questions, both initially and inversely, imply the same acts neither inherently ethical nor unethical. Rather, acts are conditionally ethical versus unethical as determined by the presence of mutual (or unanimous) Consent versus Dissent of merely one of the involved individuals.

To go further, if these aforementioned acts are preferred or consented, yet forcefully prevented by political, social or religious intervention, is it not intrusion, imposition even deprivation at most, at least unethical. It is true, some religious or moral teachings encourage higher standards on these issues as well others; however the very same standards immediately lose ethical merit by disregarding the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent on all matters, in so doing, inseparably disrespecting the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason (see No. 24).

---

Ah the inhumane deprivation by the individual’s dehydration
Then suffocation per domineered winters’ vile purifications
Laden with crony-bandoleers, enslaved to pledge “Te Deum
Recanting all causations by tainting of just one man’s freedom

HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 83

83 - What Is Murder, Rape, Slavery and Theft / 1st Reprise

What is murder if not termination of human life without Consent? In contrast, what is assisted suicide if not termination of human life with Consent? Both questions of course imply the same act, the termination of life by one upon another, an act neither inherently ethical nor unethical. Rather, the act is conditionally ethical versus unethical as determined by the presence of mutual (or unanimous) Consent versus Dissent of merely one of the involved individuals.

To go further, if termination of life is preferred or consented in form of suicide with or without assistance, yet forcefully prevented by political, social or religious intervention, is it not torturous at most, at least unethical. It is true, some religious or moral teachings encourage higher standards on this issue as well others; however the very same standards immediately lose ethical merit by disregarding the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent on all matters, in so doing, inseparably disrespecting the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason (see No. 24).

HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 80

80 - Individualism versus Aforementioned Isms / 2nd Reprise

Again and final time, at risk appearing exhaustingly repetitive (i.e. No. 60) though quite necessary… Concerning the selected vocabulary for the previous six installments, it could be asked why the redundancy. Applying logic thus ethic across numerous issues and scenarios, require nothing more than redundant or consistent language save the mere replacement of critiqued targets’ referencing nouns. The repetitiveness emphasizes the one unwavering principle thus prevailing point among the prior six proems and poems as well the entire collection, that is to say, to respect and regard the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

More often ignored, still there is a lesson to be learned. Exceptions of course introduce inconsistencies thus complexities, often facilitating more of the same. To go further, principles may seem clear initially, however exceptions’ inconsistencies and complexities will foster the redefinition and reapplication of the former, while rewriting supporting fact and/or history, discarding empiricism in part or whole in practice, gradually blurring and eventually erasing from minds the founding logic as well ethic. It follows, when reason’s expression per individual consent as well dissent are honored in rhetoric and practice concerning all matters, only then can be found genuine fairness equality, justice, freedom, that is to say, the sole ethic among non-omniscient, non-omnipresent and non-omnipotent thus quite finite mortals.

The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover below merely a working version....

PROEM & POEM No. 79 - Individualism versus Democracy or Populism / Reprise

Individualism is negated by Democracy or Populism for the latter presumes to manage others by one or a few assuming the human instinct as predominate, decreeing and despotizing by manipulative subsidization of human emotion and educative mitigation of human reason, illogically moralizing community or country over individuality then unethically memorializing political autocracy or oligarchy over citizenry. It is nothing less than blatant and arrant the disrespect and the disregard of the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

Democracy or Populism are rejected by Individualism for the latter presumes not to manage others by assuming the human instinct as predominate, rather, despises as dehumanizing the manipulative subsidization of human emotion and educative mitigation of human reason, logically moralizing individuality over community then ethically memorializing citizenry over political autocracy or oligarchy. It is nothing less than empirically insistent and rationally persistent the respect and the regard for the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.
