ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 25

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 25 - To Consent Is Unalienable

Securing “certain rights unalienable” were among Thomas Jefferson’s critical points in 1776, justifying the remaining Declaration of Independence as intended for the British king and parliament. So well familiar of course and (too) often recited then, since and still, the coinage have long been an American mantra. However, as obvious and unequivocal the adjective “unalienable”, so the noun “rights” is spurious and unambiguous per the plural form. For if singular, the author would have articulated profound clarity on a matter misunderstood prior and unfortunately, still gravely misunderstood to this day.

As stated in earlier proems, Alexandra Hamilton warned against a legal, constitutional list or bill of rights. Nouns like “list” or “bill” imply a plurality on their own merits, unmistakably so when prepositioned with other nouns like “rights”. Regrettably, Mr. Hamilton did not directly address the crux of the matter as the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, thus the lone manifestation of the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, correspondingly nor did Mr. Jefferson. Instead, the latter referred to the vague “unalienable Rights; among these are Life, Liberty and pursuit of Happiness”, while the former critiqued solely the political, documental formalities of such arbitrary contrivances.

---

Weep under the willows, wallow beneath the poplars
Harps on branches bent, robes rent and cast upon waters
Wheat fields coercively let, lords crazed per the scent
Envying the laborers’ sweat, as the covet guilts consent

---

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 24

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 24 - To Reason Is Human / 2nd Reprise

Humanity is not distinguished by the ever-present instinct to react, a characteristic shared by all species, rather by the ever-present ability to reason, inseparably the ever-present right to consent or not consent. Concisely, consent by reason is the unique expression of the being human. Thus to presumptuously disallow in whole, or in part mostly or minutely, is to disrespect the right to consent, ultimately to disregard the ability to reason. By such disrespect and disregard, humanity’s distinction becomes inconsequential to the clueless by social design and the careless like sacerdotal swine, as well wantonly trampled by the insatiably covetous, the degenerately malicious and the irredeemably callous. It logically follows, indistinguishably inhumane would be the posture and treatment towards their fellow man versus managed cattle, hunted game or worst though no less true, discarded carcasses for severed trophies.

Truly the aforementioned considerations stress and press towards the imperative conclusion to unconditionally respect without reservation the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably, to unqualifiedly regard without exception the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent. It is, of course, a nonnegotiable prerequisite for entering all matters intimate, private, philosophical, spiritual, theological, public, social, political, consequently, ethical and so on infinitely categorical, involving two more individuals.

Thus the Adamic passion unbridled, amid dust until touch
Damnation rivaled by Causation’s archival, ah insomuch
Per one Nonesuch, hence Existing preexisting perpetual
Scribing on rock aft’ wind, to wit, the Writ as Law natural

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 23

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 23 - To Reason Is Human / 1st Reprise

So indistinguishable is the human and the ability to reason, it is imperative to elaborate a bit further. The most unreasonable or disagreeable person, the most foolish as well outright foolhardy, the most stubborn, the most stingy, the most self-destructive, the most suicidal, is no less reasonable, that is to say, has no less ability to reason than a person most agreeable, most wise, most prudent or cautious, most constructive, most compatible, most charitable, most self-preserving, etc. A person reasonable is one merely possessing the ability to reason. Differently, simply, a person reasonable is a person human, again to reason is human.

Is it so difficult to qualify all actions as driven by self-interest, that is to say, motivated by perceived benefits whether seen as such or not by others, whether actually so or not by outcomes. Self-destructive actions too are chosen per some understood or misunderstood preference over alternatives. These unfortunate decisions are no less reasonable over those seen as less harmful to self or others, hence the ever-present state ability to reason.

True, it would be remiss to overlook the human instinct also ever-present from womb to tomb, powerfully so however subjected only to and subjugated solely by the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

---

Ochlocratically finessed, cruel no less when dispossessing
More oft willful the ethical as well economical abscessing
Expressing by twisting so to confiscate per social justice
To covet as a right, while in fists olive-branch and cutlass

---

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 22

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 22 - To Reason Is Human

If humans did not reason, possessing not the specie’s sole advantage for survival, then they as vulnerably featherless, furless, clawless, fangless as well weaker and slower, bipedal omnivores would instinctively, desperately resort to gathering, foraging, grazing then scavenging upon prior failed hunts per lack of reasoning skills to imagine then construct spears, clubs, slings, bows and arrows. In pack-like and herd-esque groups, these wretched non-reasoning humans would survive for a time, although eventually preying on each other, invariably extinct in due time.

Theoretical of course, for when have humankind, in the current biological and psychological state created or evolved, been without the Peculiar Ability to Reason. Consequently, it is impossible to logically consider humans without noting even highlighting their one tool for improvement even survival, at the same time, their one distinction among fellow species. Inseparably, the Singular Right to Consent or Not Consent is no less worthy to note and highlight, therefore impossible to ignorantly overlook, arrogantly dismiss or brutally reject if paramount the empiricism combined with diligence resulting to consistency thus logic, in a word; ethic.

---

Odd the human specie was, is and will be, reasonably
Consistently, persistently as seed to tree, salmon to sea
Else extinct, yet hoodwinked by princes’ poli-kinks
Thus individualism succinct, by presumptions in sync

---

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 21

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 21 - Conjured Lists / 2nd Reprise

True to Alexander Hamilton predictions implied in Federalist No. 84 and as bold it may be to say, every aspect of life not mentioned in the U.S. Bill of Rights are intrusively touched by government law, regulation, policy, license, permit, tax, tariff, ban, surveillance, etc. Bolder still yet no less true, every aspect of life particularly mentioned in the U.S. Bill of Rights are intrusively touched by government law, regulation, policy, license, permit, tax, tariff, ban, surveillance, etc.

Ironically, the historically assumed and quite stringently constitutional interpretation “whatever is not written, is not allowed” already began the slow, unnoticed digression in the late 18th century, until the tyrannical convenience “whatever is not written, is allowed” fully matured in the 20th and 21st centuries. To disagree is to ignore implications in and around Mr. Hamilton’s arguments against the Bill of Rights, to insist on disagreeing is to overlook U.S. history entirely.

It should be plain, any list of rights or codes, certainly volumes of laws and statutes, would be incapable of eliciting consensual unanimity, therefore mustering consensual majority at best. In contrast, would any individual consider as just or moral the forcefully imposing disrespect and disregard by others against his/her own prerogatives, that is, his/her own Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

---

O Publius, the one gem deterred not thy alter-whims
Consolidating schemes upon themes of federalist vim
Yet rightly dividing as unnecessary even dangerous
Rights enumerated, hence allowing purposes devious

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 17 - Divine Force, Human Force

Divine Force is a wonderful thing, for we know it as natural law, the empirically observed causality manifested quite praxeologically, the closest to humbly understanding heaven as unassumingly distant that remains to be.

Human Force is quite another thing, for we know it as forms of kraterocracy (i.e. might makes right) or the commonly known tyrannies masked cleverly, with or without (pointlessly dynamic) constitutions, as theocracy, monarchy, oligarchy thus plutocracy or geniocracy, democracy and the identical twin ochlocracy, among many others of course, all categorically adhocracy eventually even kakistocracy inevitably, the closest to inescapably understanding hell as horrifically near as that continues to be.

Human Force inherently therefore unavoidably disrespects and disregards the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent. Conversely logical, Divine Force respects and regards the same else something more human-esque hence less divine-like.

Ah the stratospheric divide, hindering mortals’ struggle
Erring oft to be the Immortal, so the perpetual stumble
Such hysteric downward glide, paralleling the bromides
Promulgations as declarations, truths merely quoted lies

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 20

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 20 - Conjured Lists / 1st Reprise

Alexander Hamilton, as one among United States’ founding cronies (I mean fathers) and constitutional schemers (I mean framers) in Philadelphia during the summer of 1787, additionally and rightly the father of American central banking, a title justifiably envied by any would-be tyrant or master thief, however quite spot on most surprisingly yet logically thus causally and effectually therefore prophetically when he penned the article Federalist No. 84 under the pseudonym Publius. In today’s propagandized, Roman mob-like culture, his critique of any bill of rights and counter-intuitive (to most) conclusion would be held as controversial, perhaps offensive thus banned from public or (alleged) intellectual forums such as college campuses by riot, vandalism, assault and general violence. Fitly, near end of his provocatively insightful essay he pronounced, “I go further, and affirm that bills of rights, in the sense and in the extent in which they are contended for, are not only unnecessary in the proposed constitution, but would even be dangerous.”

Dangerous? Absolutely! For such a document of enumerated protections like the U.S. Bill of Rights of 1792, allows even ensures covert as well overt trampling by government upon every aspect of life not mentioned. To say “Not so!” is to ignore United States’ entire history that affirms the boundless disrespect and disregard for the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

---

O Publius, thy sole pearl, `twas cast among fellow swine
Then, since and hereafter, hence truth and logic benign
Democracy’s myths animate, polity’s lies stimulate
As citizenry abdicate, adulate and dutifully masturbate

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 19

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 19 - Conjured Lists

The propensity to compile lists of morals and rights, as well to conjure excessively longer lists of laws, codes, ordinances and policies determined presumptuously, arbitrarily, intrusively, always lacking unanimous support (majority at most), have been among the gravest of misunderstandings and undertakings throughout history, and in so doing brutishly disrespecting even brutally disregarding the actual one moral, one right, one basis for law or code, and one social justice since the first encounter of two, three or more; the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

Intensified and perpetuated further the propensity, of course, by various lists of religious commandments, duties and rituals for the defining or recognizing of followers thereof. Now pause before retorting, for this critique is not atheistically motivated, rather, logically based on the obvious distinction between voluntary response and piety upon divine instruction, versus compulsory participation and imposition upon human presumption.

The utopian’s reverie, far more opiate than religion
Fancying his rumination for another’s progression
Believing to reprieve, as well behave the wretched
Yet defrayed by the knave more stayed as directed

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 18

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 18 - Daftly Mob Deftly Robbed

The deft plays and preys the daft, of course the latter trumpets and decrees on behalf of the former. Plainly, the daftly mob are deftly robbed, whether by night’s darkest hour or broadest of daylight. Paradoxically often, the theft is so well disguised by lofty orations, eliciting charitable sentiments among unsuspecting victims. More disturbing is the deviant transformation of secretive covetousness to outspoken entitlements even rights while shaming intended victims as selfish and greedy.

Indeed, public slander and personal injury are likely, at times imminent, when logically defending the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent on all matters intimate, private, philosophical, spiritual/theological, public, social, political, consequently, ethical. The biblical prophet Isaiah was quite correct to critically lament, “Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!”

---

O to mammalian souls, roaming familiarly half-whole
Half-engaged, hastily enraged, easily quickened to extol
Murder as necessity, theft as charity, slavery as duty
And more, as lies recited soon appeal as truth’s beauty

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

PROEM & POEM No. 16 - Language Confounded / 1st Reprise ~

Presently, language is confounded further by political leaders, crony journalists as well opportunistic activists and lobbyists circumventing appropriately necessary topical essays, theses and books, in favor of tritely repetitive slogans, chants, sound-bites, tweets, vids, blogs and slanders, to explain postures and positions. Worst, some even presume lofty as though Attic orators or logographers of ancient Greece, rather the mere plastic heads ceaselessly talking, mundanely blogging and generally, unsubstantially maligning per political convenience.

In 21st century logically declining American culture, other than a disagreeable intellectual opinion or an opposing political view, what do words exactly mean like far-right, far-left, extremist, racist, nationalist, socialist, fascist, anti-fascist, hater even fake news, internet troll and more? It is astonishing how such gravely misused words of very particular definitions as well flamboyantly inflammatory characterization or name-calling are widely uttered at the height of U.S. public education system(s).

As such, schools and universities have either academically failed in educating thus nurturing and facilitating, or they have politically succeeded in propagandizing thus manipulating and circumventing the Human Ability to Reason, the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 15

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 15 - Language Confounded

Whether to broadly punish mortals for arrogantly “reach(ing) unto heaven”, or to thwart king and government’s presumptuous conscription as well confiscation upon others of the same cloth, that is, the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, for either or both reasons, God confounded the common language according to Genesis’11th chapter, 7th verse. With that biblically said, Nimrod and his royal counselors already confounded the common language by cunningly half truths and brazenly whole lies, as empirically, consistently confirmed by every government since that time for similar grandiose, outlandish plans, self-serving even deviant schemes as well the most seemingly just or moral programs.

Perhaps a story allegorically or actually so, either matters not, for is it not interesting the comparison. Consequently, general arrogance educes divinity’s punishment by the confounding of the common language, versus government arrogance seduces citizenry’s sentiment by the confounding of the common language per clever propaganda including shrewd redefinition of terms and words. Perhaps a story timelessly applicable.

4th of July

Americans celebrate as though National Independence is the same as Individual Liberty, when the two are not. Americans celebrate as though there is much to honor and remember, when there is much to shame thus repent since this country's founding. Americans celebrate as though they are free and the wars waged are for freedom, when they are no more free than politicians, bureaucrats as well their enforcers and surveillants allow them to be. In truth, there is nothing to celebrate.

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 14

Most likely to be published sometime in 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 14 - Nimrod’s Tower versus Solomon’s Temple

Nimrod and his counselors must have professed yet veritably guessed as attainable of course, consequently assessed but literally finessed as sustainable, as overly empowered governments of all forms always do. So it was initially, as it was inconvincibly among the people, else unnecessary would have been both law and tax by scepter and saber. So it is fair to ask, were subjects of Nimrod and people of Shinar, joyously and charitably supportive unanimous for the tower, or were all, most or some taxed and employed by confiscation and conscription, enforced by point of pen and tip of sword? Respectively let us be inquisitively consistent, were subjects of Solomon and people of Israel/Judah, joyously and charitably supportive unanimous for the temple, or were all, most or some taxed and employed by confiscation and conscription as those prior in Shinar, enforced by point of pen and tip of sword?

Before any theologian quickly discredits, pause and consider the obvious yet overlooked coercive dynamics of any such project executed by rulers, kings as well governments, regardless of intent, goal or context. Is it possible for the implied reasons, Christ himself condemns the rebuilt temple 800 years after Solomon’s passing, “See ye not all these things (temple and annexes)? Verily I say unto you. There shall not be left here one stone upon another that shall not be thrown down.”, therefore indicting the disrespect and disregard the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.
