The Unfairness of Equal Outcomes

Solution to biased news is broad competition

It should be a given, all news are biased per the human beings presenting. Every person, journalists as well, have their own limited knowledge, limited understanding, compounded by opinions and moods, thus via this unavoidable filter whether unintended or intended, news will always be biased. Hence, it should be known, the magnitude of intended biases are in direct relation to how much or often journalists and their agencies claim to be not so biased. Remember the "no spin zone". :-)

The only solution to biased news is broad competition among the biased news agencies, oppose to preferring some singular source "perceived" as not biased.

For worst than or at least equal to human depravity as theologically proposed, and certainly far more deceptive, destructive even deadly, is human limitation cloaked with unlimited arrogance and presumption. Perhaps that is human depravity at it's core.

Even if a good man was elected to office

Even if a good man was elected to office as head of a politically/socially aggressive police state, commander of an imperially aggressive standing military, he will wield such power to the fullest legal and publicly acceptable extent as well beyond those lines marginally at least, setting precedence for the next officeholder to use and abuse similarly. Thus, paradoxically, the last two and current presidents who were and are monstrous warmongers, yet along with their families, friends and supporters, may consider themselves as good men. Disconnects of this inhumane magnitude could and should be categorized as psychosis, nevertheless, Americans revel in their delusions.

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

Today is Confederate Memorial Day

Today is Confederate Memorial Day, as well a day after the city of New Orleans remove the 1st of 4 Confederate statues...

I say remove all holidays, statues, memorials, plaques and flags honoring US warmongers; generals, soldiers, presidents, senators, representatives, etc. In their place, there should be holidays, statues, memorials, plaques and flags honoring non-warriors; carpenters, welders, janitors, clerks, engineers, architects, doctors, researchers, inventors, farmers, truck drivers, equipment operators, philosophers, ministers, accountants, investors, entrepreneurs, fathers, mothers, teachers, etc.

Far worst than racism is statism in form of government's militarism, imperialism of course, as well centralism, paternalism, favoritism manifested by cronyism and socialism, and more. For without the latter isms, the former has no power over others.

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 5

To be published in late fall of 2017, perhaps winter of 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will most likely be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 5 - Psychosis and Depravity

Patriotism and/or Nationalism (see Nos. 69, 71-73), always for Collectivistic purposes, coercively gather and/or cleverly rally individuals, thus subjugating and/or promulgating into an upheld Society. Propaganda, among all its schemes, academically and journalistically washes the brain by demeaning and lowercasing the individual’s considerations of him or herself, while esteeming and uppercasing Society’s considerations of Itself.

So effective the washing of the brain, there sets in a psychosis, best manifested by the reverences and accolades toward Society’s governmental flags, banners, uniforms, badges, statues, memorials, parades, holidays, documents, speeches, quotes, of course the wars heralded in glorious anthems, hymns, songs as well rhetoric in speeches, lectures even sermons. That is to say, the mental disease causes an inability to distinguish between propaganda or promulgation versus fact or reality, official narrative versus actual history, arbitrariness and inconsistency therefore lacking ethics versus logic and consistency therefore confirming ethics, as well the grander collectivism and subjugation versus individualism and liberation.

To go further, the psychosis fosters a depravity, making impossible to discern between the disrespect and disregard versus respect and regard for the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

---

Collectivism’s psychosis by didactically dysgenic osmosis
From reasoning to consent or not, to mass drone-hypnosis
Seasons cyclically fraught, Individualism duly swallowed
Minds fitly hollowed, sworn to whore for Society hallowed

Milk and Foreign Policy

Concisely as well consistently...

"If they (US government/politicians) are lying to me about milk subsidies, they may also be lying about foreign policy."

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 4

4 - What Is Justification / Reprise

What is the justification of any political, economic Ism if not Consent expressed by every seller, buyer, barterer, trader, producer, consumer, investor, entrepreneur, lender, borrower, employer, employee, manager, labor and all other various participants in the economy? Again, to go further, what is Communism, Fascism, Old European Mercantilism, American Cronyism, as well Socialism always dependent on any of the former, if not imposition, intervention and intrusion upon economic activity, of course lacking unanimous Consent, thus lacking justification?

All political and economic Isms without unanimous Consent, as well supporting Ideologies, cannot claim to respect and regard the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent. Instead, Injustice therefore Tyranny are the only accurate claims and indictments per the force exacted upon each and every dissenting Individual.

---

O the isms’ schisms per statism’s trumpeted chrisms
Despotism cloaked to coax hence hoax the populism
Benevolence by violence, corpulence by fraudulence
Such opulent continuance by malevolent vehemence

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 3

3 - What Is Justification

What is the justification of any arrangement intimate, private, philosophical, spiritual/theological, public, social or political between two persons or more if not Consent expressed by each individual? To go further, what is the justification of any arrangement between two dozen, two hundred, two thousand, two million or more people if not Consent expressed initially and continuously by each individual?

Gravely unjust even inhumanely tyrannical is the arrangement if one or one million individuals do not give their Consent yet forced to remain in it. To respect and regard the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent, is to also respect and regard the resulting Decision and Action to remain in or leave the arrangement.

Complexity oft airs as perspicacity, as well sagacity
Mendacity as veracity, winking at each inconsistency
Like some rare comedy, yet illogicality’s carousel
Repeating the pell-mell, till night’s toll of Edgar’s bell

Caesars and fellow-warmongers

The former Caesars and fellow-warmongers Bush and Obama should be proud of their protege, for the US Imperial Legions, led by Caesar Trump, have dropped the largest non-nuclear bomb in Afghanistan.

Fair Lady, to J.T. (1976-2007)

It was 10 years ago, upon the untimely passing of a beautiful woman, the idea of a poetic novel and collection of poems came to be,  consequently, to include this poem written a year earlier for her... to J.T. (1976-2007)....

FAIR LADY
23 April 2006

The fairness of her creativity
Coalesces in the soul of eternity
The conception of nativity aye
Delivered by a brighten medium
The lumen of hidden things
Are encountering and fugitive
Elusive, absorbing, transient
Stalwartly engaging, panoramas
Of secrets, truths, blends, hues
Colors of science and wisdom
Tints of philosophy and theology
Meadows low, pinnacles high
Tides throwing benevolent arms
Upon the desolate continents
The masses’ motive to rush
The sea, and thee, a worthy key
To unobstructed dialogue, and
Unimaginable resplendence

American Empire is preparing its Imperial Legions

Once again, the American Empire is preparing its Imperial Legions to invade (note) and destroy "another" country while taunting and antagonizing other(s), heralding causes without presenting substantiated evidences, just like the 2013 chemical and 2003 WMD allocations, quite similar to the the 1964 Gulf of Tonkin and 1941 Pearl Harbor embellished incidences (note). Meanwhile, the Roman mob idol-worship either empire or emperor as well the holy flag and writ, appeased and bribed by bread tossed into the coliseum crowd per an array of social programs, government contracts, moral regulations, public amenities, and more... May God have mercy on this warmongering Christian nation!

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

Note:
First. Many distinguish between air/drone strikes versus boots-on-the-ground, calling the latter war or invasion, when both or all are invasions to victims of US presumptions. Second.Gulf of Tonkin and Pearl Harbor were exaggerations of actual events for the sole purpose of inciting support for foreign wars. Roosevelt claimed in his infamous 1941 speech "The United States was at peace with that nation", excusing of course the US naval blockade of Japan's oil shipping routes, otherwise seen by most as acts of war. Yet still, Americans continue to trust the US government with their already politically trampled property, privacy, liberty even life.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 2

2 - What Is Tyranny

What is morality or ethic without consistency if not individual prerogative, mere arbitrariness even heedless whimsy?  Logically, consistency demands exhaustive inquires similar to what was asked of murder, rape slavery and theft (see Proem & Poem No.1).

More broadly, what is tyranny if not any governance without Consent? It matters not the form, whether it is theocracy, monocracy, plutocracy, perhaps oligarchy, democracy, ochlocracy or another, only unanimous Consent initially and continuously determines the arrangement as tolerable, acceptable, desirable, justifiable even ethical. If unanimous Consent minus simply one, two, three or more individuals, then intolerable, unacceptable, undesirable, unjustifiable even unethical.

By presumptuous design or logical devolution, tyranny appears in various disguises, however discernible by the disrespect and disregard of others, that is, the disrespect and disregard of the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

---

Questions hued then honed for common consumption
Subsumption of truths-on-stones within the presumption
Contemptuousness upon covetousness sweetly hymned
Deceitfully prim, thus all be damned while bedimmed

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 1

To be published in late fall of 2017, perhaps winter of 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will most likely be the first installment upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 1 - What Is Murder, Rape, Slavery and Theft

What is murder if not termination of human life without Consent? What is rape or sexual violation, if not such activity without Consent? What is slavery if not employment, labor or duty without Consent? What is theft, or extortion, if not barter, purchase, loan, gift or charity without Consent? What is assault if not spar without Consent? What is abduction if not association without Consent?

What is an intruder if not a relative, friend or guest crossing the door’s threshold without Consent?  What is an invader if not an ally crossing the border without Consent?

Empirically hence inevitably considering, the passionate inquiry of the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, must be prerequisite to all matters intimate, private, philosophical, spiritual, theological, public, social, political, consequently, ethical.

---

Question neo-truths and hoary lies, either oft connived
Attired withal bane, polity then gains, per the contrived
Slurred verses for blurred curses, o’er private purses
O covetousness fitly stirs as the public booty disperses

Peace in Syria!

But (my country) United States lusts for wars, more wars amid rumors of wars with an unquenchable blood-thirst...

Obama was pushing for war in Syria, even dropped 3000 bombs in 2016 among the 26,000 bombs total in the Mideast region that included 6 other countries. The former president funneled money and weaponry as well to the Syrian government's opposition that ended up in the hands of terrorists. Yet still, he retains his 2009 Nobel Peace prize (of course, a meaningless accolade).

Trump, not to be out done by Bush or Obama's warmongering, has now escalated the war in Syria in response to alleged use of chemicals by the Syrian president, as alleged and without evidence as the same allocation several years ago. Quite similar to the charge against Hussein's alleged WMDs, also never proven.

For almost two decades there has been constant war, or wars plural, waged by the US Axis of Warmongers; Bush, Obama and Trump, with partisan as well bipartisan support even praise. If criticized by other politicians, only for not doing enough warmongering. I must say however, one man, former US Representative Ron Paul, consistently spoke against this prevailing violent mood in Congress, but no one lend him an ear.

Where are the protests in streets or on campuses, the investigative reporting by US major media, the charges of war crimes against Bush, Obama and Trump? There are none, for as long Americans are pacified by social programs and promises for more, as long they are free to rant and riot over far lesser issues, they care little about the US government's monstrosities in foreign lands.

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

Innocent children, innocent babies

President Trump and other politicians of both parties raise concerns over the "innocent children, innocent babies" killed by chemicals in Syria, categorizing it as "crossing many red lines".

And what of the endless warmongering in several countries by the US military, the untold 100,000s of civilians inhumanely killed and filed as collateral damage, the "innocent children, innocent babies" indiscriminately bombed and drone'd, how many "red lines" have been crossed by Bush, Obama and now Trump?

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

Prince Harry is taking up his mother's mantle

Prince Harry is taking up his mother's mantle, to end the use of landmines. I find it monstrously selective as well insensitive, that is, as prince of a country waging imperial wars in the Mideast along side (my country) United States, killing untold 100,000s by bombs and drones, to pinpoint only landmines as a humanitarian concern.

Americans of course are no less monstrous, for equally selective and insensitive as Prince Harry, many demonstrators in streets and on campuses have spoken out against President Trump's travel bans for countries destroyed by US imperial militarism while remaining quite silent on the far more graver context.

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

Martin Luther King, Jr (January 15, 1929-April 4, 1968)

Martin Luther King, Jr (January 15, 1929-April 4, 1968)... Words taken from his Christmas sermon regarding Peace, preached on the eve of December 24, 1967...

"It's one of the strangest things that all the great military geniuses of the world have talked about peace. The conquerors of old who came killing in pursuit of peace, Alexander, Julius Caesar, Charlemagne, and Napoleon, were akin in seeking a peaceful world order. If you will read Mein Kampf closely enough, you will discover that Hitler contended that everything he did in Germany was for peace. And the leaders of the world today talk eloquently about peace. Every time we drop our bombs in North Vietnam, President Johnson talks eloquently about peace. What is the problem? They are talking about peace as a distant goal, as an end we seek, but one day we must come to see that peace is not merely a distant goal we seek, but that it is a means by which we arrive at that goal. We must pursue peaceful ends through peaceful means. All of this is saying that, in the final analysis, means and ends must cohere because the end is preexistent in the means, and ultimately destructive means cannot bring about constructive ends.

Now let me say that the next thing we must be concerned about if we are to have peace on earth and good will toward men is the nonviolent affirmation of the sacredness of all human life."

... Unfortunately, nothing has changed in United States, for like then and more so, this country is warring in several countries, dropping bombs, sending drones upon civilians in name of freedom, safety and peace. Like then, freedom, safety and peace will continue to elude amid the carnage until Americans simply choose to stop warring.

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.
