HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 80

Most likely to be published later this spring of 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover below merely a working version....

PROEM & POEM No. 80 - Individualism versus Aforementioned Isms / 2nd Reprise

Again and final time, at risk appearing exhaustingly repetitive (i.e. No. 60) though quite necessary… Concerning the selected vocabulary for the previous six installments, it could be asked why the redundancy. Applying logic thus ethic across numerous issues and scenarios, require nothing more than redundant or consistent language save the mere replacement of critiqued targets’ referencing nouns. The repetitiveness emphasizes the one unwavering principle thus prevailing point among the prior six proems and poems as well the entire collection, that is to say, to respect and regard the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

More often ignored, still there is a lesson to be learned. Exceptions of course introduce inconsistencies thus complexities, often facilitating more of the same. To go further, principles may seem clear initially, however exceptions’ inconsistencies and complexities will foster the redefinition and reapplication of the former, while rewriting supporting fact and/or history, discarding empiricism in part or whole in practice, gradually blurring and eventually erasing from minds the founding logic as well ethic. It follows, when reason’s expression per individual consent as well dissent are honored in rhetoric and practice concerning all matters, only then can be found genuine fairness equality, justice, freedom, that is to say, the sole ethic among non-omniscient, non-omnipresent and non-omnipotent thus quite finite mortals.

O the demigods aspire, confiscating others’ well earned spires
Sequestrating a mother’s bairn as econ-serf and socio-squire
Transpired thusly, by swills’ logical ills and psychological pills
Congressing unconscious, confessing preposterous upon the nil

HUMAN ABILITY to REASON, HUMAN RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 79

79 - Individualism versus Democracy or Populism / Reprise

Individualism is negated by Democracy or Populism for the latter presumes to manage others by one or a few assuming the human instinct as predominate, decreeing and despotizing by manipulative subsidization of human emotion and educative mitigation of human reason, illogically moralizing community or country over individuality then unethically memorializing political autocracy or oligarchy over citizenry. It is nothing less than blatant and arrant the disrespect and the disregard of the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

Democracy or Populism are rejected by Individualism for the latter presumes not to manage others by assuming the human instinct as predominate, rather, despises as dehumanizing the manipulative subsidization of human emotion and educative mitigation of human reason, logically moralizing individuality over community then ethically memorializing citizenry over political autocracy or oligarchy. It is nothing less than empirically insistent and rationally persistent the respect and the regard for the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

Upon the nil, liken exotic arabesque, charitably traced
Righteously in haste, unseen the nidus setting the pace
Festering idiocy, naivety per festivity mid the duplicity
Jester’ing veracity as vulgarity, enmity by the insanity

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

PROEM & POEM No. 78 - Individualism versus Democracy or Populism

Individualism is logically simple per the constant respect and consistent regard for the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent; an ethically immutable prerequisite to all matters mutual hence collective too.

Democracy or Populism is arbitrarily complex per the constant disrespect and consistent disregard for the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent; an unethically indispensable priority over all matters mutual, collective too,  hence individual always.

Cast on stage, casqued on written page, per smitten rage
Politically frayed, dismayed, ridiculing the logical wage
From Taoists, Greeks, to Misesean, Rothbardian critiques
Like appliqué unbroken, piqué so woven; truth’s intrigues

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

Freedom’s penetralia like treason’s genitalia as caught
And boiled in pots by rexes’ hexes as despotic gavottes
Riddled in knots, by harassing vexes, the belly libertine
Flamboyances saccharine and hindrances serpentine

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

By the rules golden, beholden by imposing others
Presupposing as tho' our fuckin' omni-mothers
Motioning, seconding, by right hand, then by left
Lunging ahead, funding instead, by legal theft

Silver rules across brassy backs of silvery chairs
Else, blacken straps to backs, forcing to swear
While privacy tears by public rape led by their kings
Then liberty's ethic cape tossed like a leprous thing

Kings and their things, first coveted and worst thus lifted
Bucketed, coffered, pursed, often clipped, always shifted
Coin and corn plundered, purloined for bourns mongered
Fitly squandered the denizens by diadems unencumbered

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.
