PROEM & POEM No. 92 - The Academic Bomb / 3rd Reprise
The most inhumanely devastating in history both in depth by atrocities devolved and width by geographies involved, modern warfare of 20th and 21st centuries have remained well supported by governments and citizens alike (particularly this poet’s country) in stark contrast to flamboyant doublespeak for peace by political and social leaders. So much so, support have translated to blind patriotism (the only appropriate adjective for this Ism), primitive glorification of wars and war heroes, unprincipled thus superstitious-esque reverence for flags, symbols, slogans (i.e. liberty by blood, freedom is not free, safety and security, democracy, for the people, common good, etc) as well those fallen for these tools of propaganda.
Plainly, while by government’s central banks modern wars are subsidized thus perpetuated; it is by government’s public schools modern warriors are propagandized thus predisposed. Diabolically, by this sort of preemption of informed or free choice by purposeful lies, the individual is managed and manipulated in the very same unethical manner lies are instrumental for dishonest, fraudulent activity whether for sex, theft, scam and more. Categorically, dishonesty as well secrecy for the sake of directing a person’s activities, activities otherwise unengaged if fully disclosed, are at core a disrespect and disregard for the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.
