ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 13

To be published in late fall of 2017, perhaps winter of 2018, my 10th book currently entitled; 100 Proems & Poems on the ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will most likely be included upon further editing...

PROEM & POEM No. 13 - Tower of Babel / 2nd Reprise

The question begs to be asked. Should the ethical or theological indictment be levied solely upon King Nimrod’s nonsensical ends to “reach unto heaven”, and say nothing of the means for his unattainable purpose thus unsustainable project?

Whether it is a tower or any other government program deemed as heavenly, socially moral or just, even unalienably rightful, there are shared, coercive means to these ends. They share in fact the same coercive means as the most hellish ends imaginable to Man. To go further, consider these coercions rarely compared by minds propagandized and subsidized; Hitler’s 25-Point Plan then Final Solution versus Roosevelt’s New Deal then Executive Order 9066, Medicare and Veterans hospitals versus Fascistic or Communistic Socialism, 13th century Mongol conquests versus 21st (as well 20th) century American foreign wars, former USSR’s satellite states versus current U.S. territories, Putin’s alleged plan to reform an empire versus Lincoln’s accomplished plan to preserve an union, consequently to be consistent, Nimrod’s tower versus Solomon’s temple.

If respected and regarded the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, then conversation towards consensus, not covetousness towards coercion.

Her hands held by his, over a cup of coffee priced-just
Twice the scorn if either forced, tendering not the trust
Flesh burns or warms, while the heart spurns or yearns
Likewise fairness is and earned by unanimous concerns

For the first time since Geocities of the late 1990s

For the first time since Geocities of the late 1990s, D.C. Quillan Stone is NOT on social media :-). With that said, what are blog sites but another convenient forum for two-way communication. It seems however (per my arrogance of course) Geocities, MySpace, Facebook and other like-sites elict a constant, voluminous flow of opinions and comments from societies' intellectually lowest common demoninator. It should be clear, the qualifier "intellectually lowest" does not imply those less formally educated, socially cultured nor fashionably attired (i.e. suit and fake glasses) according to some temporal pop-standard, for many among those seen as such are included in my implied critique.

I digress. My point, it is quite liberating to concentrate on writing my 10th book without the cyber-rabble's non-stop distraction. Good luck to those who remain in tne online quagmire.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 12

12 - Tower of Babel / 1st Reprise

The biblical account in Genesis’11th chapter, the first 9 verses, describes briefly the construction of a city and in it a tower. The tower as designed was to “reach unto heaven”, thwarted by God confounding  the common language, a linguistic schism among engineers, builders and laborers, thus scattering “abroad upon the face of all the earth” along with city’s populace. The story so concludes “therefore is the name of it called Babel” per King James’ commissioned version, forever ensuring the word’s usage poetically, metaphorically as well literally.

Sermonized often is the story, admonishing parishioners towards humility, consequently warning against the folly when assuming too arrogantly, aspiring too lofty. It is fitting to draw a moral, personal lesson, though to do so one must step even myopically trip over the obvious.

The ruling elite of this story mandated and taxed for the construction of city and tower, hence forced utilization and confiscation of human resources; skilled and unskilled labor, private property and possession, including any personal coin and commodity for exchange and barter. This should read quite familiar (i.e. government today), else slam close this fuckin’ book and burn it, for unprepared is the reader’s mind to respect and regard the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

At hand the hard task, else to stand `hind nard-mask
Thus the Isms’ waft and whiff from shattered cask
Splattered from flask silver and gold yet purloined
Clipped coin to rash cash, avarices cleverly enjoined

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 11

PROEM & POEM No. 11 - Tower of Babel

Common acolytes, temple prostitutes and elite priests covetously, naively and ignorantly seek, adore and praise their presidential messiahs, parting over doctrinal trifles hence two political sects of the same religion, worshiping the same god; Government, seated upon immoderation pinnacle by presumption parasitical ever pursuing the ever elusive omnipresence, omniscience and omnipotence over society.

However, gravely ignored the empirical prophecy, the inevitably unsustainable Tower of Babel, collapsing amid mass confusion per language so completely confounded by years, decades and centuries of deceitfully revised history, redefined vocabulary, reconstructed logic thus perversely remodeled ideas, principles even rights and morality.

So it is when Covetousness so incites Presumptuousness ever festering Excessiveness, the State’s modus operandi, thereby promptly disrespecting and disregarding others’ Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent, prerequisite to all governmental actions, categorically coercive without exception, that is to say; Violence!

Fast and pray, prostrate low in sackcloth then ash
Self-lashing too, resisting apostate for socio-Zen, alas
Rejoice in gray garments, immerse in mediocrity
Cleanse in liturgical absurdity, christen in pomposity

Peace is not Dead

It is logicaly true, peace is not dead, merely not chosen. Meanwhile...

Facebook is quite dead regarding any true discourse among logical, respectful individuals. Casual observation reveals mindsets that of pseudo-academic drones, socio-moralistic minions, poli-religious acolytes, all seemingly reading scripts written by self-serving playwrights on behalf of a few directors and producers competing, although collaborating cohorts when schemes necessitate. Above the eiderdown, society divides, polarizes and clings to their preferred major party as divorcing spouses to two sides of the same bed, however under the satin sheets the similarities are an ongoing ideological thus methodological coitus between lustfully, covetously rabid paramours. Consequently the deleting of my Facebook account.

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.

ABILITY to REASON, RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 10

10 - The Decisional Expression Simplified

To say again simplified, as much decision (d) is bound by space (x,y,z) and time (t), space (x,y,z) is bound or unavoidably effected by time (t) as well, along with the occupying individual (i) and his/her knowledge (k) and perception (p). Not only time (t) implies the potential acquiring as well recalling and repressing of knowledge (k) thus the potential expanding or contracting of perception (p), also implied are changing state or condition (c) of space (x,y,z). Thus the decisional equation could be simplified as decision (d) = condition (c) + individual (i), with (c) = condition of space (x,y,z) and (i) = individual’s knowledge (k) as well individual’s perception (p).

By elaborating over what should be somewhat obvious intuitively, if not analytically, is to underline the presumption and arrogance per another’s claim to know and perceive enough of others’ space (x,y,z), condition (c) of their space, the individual (i) thus the individual’s knowledge (k) as well individual’s perception (p). The resulting digression is the inhumane consideration of others’ Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, inseparably the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent.

O to labor collared white or blue, yet smothered anew
Upon regulatory coups, military purviews, all excused
By exclusively a few, the presumptive rally then call
Arrogant sally and gall, skewed for their own windfall
