Quote and book by Francis August Schaeffer (1912-1984)... The climax of the Ten Commandments is the Tenth Commandment – 'Thou shat not covet'...

The climax of the Ten Commandments is the Tenth Commandment – 'Thou shat not covet' – Actually we break this last commandment, not to covet, before we break any of the others. Any time that we break one of the other commandments of God, it means that we have already broken this commandment, in coveting.

True Spirituality (1971)

Quote taken from Schaeffer's 1971 book True Spirituality… As much I contend observably, logically, consistently, sustainably, ethically the Singular Human Right to Consent or Not Consent (implicitly, Dissent explicitly) on ALL matters (per trilogy below; 10th, 11th books, and 12th books), likewise I contend observably, logically, consistently, sustainably, ethically as antithesis the Singular Human Adversary even Archfoe (if you will), that is to say, Covetousness oft fomenting Presumption then soon festering Arrogance onto manifesting Violation of the aforementioned right. I owe in part my understanding of the latter to studying, pondering, laboring over the above book’s 1st chapter particularly.
