More on Human ABILITY to REASON, Human RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 198

Most likely to be published later this winter of 2020/2021, my 11th book entitled appropriately; More Proems & Poems on the Peculiar Human ABILITY to REASON, Singular Human RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover a slightly modified yet appropriate version of the previous....

PROEM & POEM No. 198 - My Life Matters! / 2nd Reprise

My life matters! My life matters, perhaps few other lives matter per my limited capacity to actually consider so with purposeful thought often coupled with compassionate e sentiment then resultant action. That is to say, if to consider practically within the larger context of reality, the total human population past, present and future, then only a few the lives that can truly matter per thought towards action by one person. With that said, none of these considerations matter if one does not regard first their own life, learning to sustain, earning to maintain and more, thus obtain sufficiently, efficiently the pragmatic means to such altruistic ends.

When you are asked to love everybody indiscriminately, that is to love people without any standard, to love them regardless of whether they have any value or virtue, you are asked to love nobody.

      Ayn Rand (1905-1982)

Whether one embraces Ms. Rand’s entire assessment or not (including this poet), certainly at minimum the intended practicality of her statement holds quite true.

Sentimentally even emotionally, one may express love for the hypothetical “everyone” in song, poem, sermon or lecture. Wishfully even hopefully, one may plan and prepare to love the actual “everyone” possibly encountered along life’s path. However, observably even logically one can only provide loving gifts, perform loving deeds for not most, not many nor some but a few of the “everyone” hypothetical and/or actual.

In parallel, all lives matter certainly, among the oppressed those particular lives matter absolutely. Just the same, lives all, most, many even some will not actually matter if life matters not responsibly well-enough to subsist oneself and beyond, so to assist a few others. Those piously sacrificial must too prioritize however minimally, else unable to carry on empathetically and benevolently. Consequentially, the observable, unavoidable mantra “My life matters!” is not solely ethical therefore singularly rightful, but the necessary prerequisite to further endeavors.

---

Lip thus bitten the lower then stiffen the upper, oh so rightfully
Whilst the hairs arise on nape of pride’s neck quite concertedly
As tarred heels roughen, the readied toughen as spikes and nails
Beneath starched collars well hot, chests fraught as bowed sails

To live and let live then die...

It's time TO LIVE AND LET LIVE THEN DIE, as life has always been and can only be, a reality as well morality unaffected regardless the amount of government intervention naively perceived as preventively necessary.

It's time to say "NO! And no more!" to damn masks, social distancing, shutdowns, allowing not political science to f-ckin' persist, rather allowing actual science to freely exist and assist once again, unencumbered by opportunistic journalists, politicians, bureaucrats, health officials, uninfluenced by public funds, subsidies, grants, etc. that seduce such activities towards artificial paths of least resistance thus encourage moral hazards.

More on Human ABILITY to REASON, Human RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 197

PROEM & POEM No. 197 - My Life Matters! / 1st Reprise

At end of day, regardless who we are, the color of skin, place of origin, lot in life, preference of identity, persuasion of politics, level of education, choice of profession, pursuit of philosophy, prayer of faith and more, deep within us all there screams with all passion that could be mustered, with all knowledge that could be studied, with all logic that could be observed, with all ethic that could be confirmed, with all consistency that could be affirmed, with all urgency that could be defended; my life matters!

So much so, the continuing economic shutdowns (of year 2020 a.k.a. The Great Oppression), as well mandates for masks and social distancing then forthcoming vaccine, the escalating protest, riot, trespass, theft, threat, destruction, arson, rape, murder, and the perpetuating polity covetously, presumptuously thus selfishly played by every partisan of both major parties in recent years upon distant decades, are all starkly even violently contrary to the Singular Human Propensity, Prerogative therefore Right deeply rooted within each of our lives that matter; the persistence even insistence to Consent or Dissent on all matters.

---

All weapons squared, as affairs’ mysteries till well ended
In gravest fanfares, of bloody phlegm in flows portended
Violence therefore held, in causality’s escrow till impelled
From ominous festers, to noxious sequesters, thus swelled

More on Human ABILITY to REASON, Human RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 196

196 - My Life Matters!

My life matters! Not because this poet says so, because we each innately say “My life matters!” while rightfully behaving so since our specie first reasoned.

Regardless the popular collectivism misguidedly favored versus properly disfavored at a given moment, the universally respected and regarded "My life matters!" is the passionately constant retort and logically consistent response by each and every Individual when confronting threat of theft, plunder, injury, rape, murder as well mob riot, police brutality, organized terror, government war or any other form of violence whether criminal, social or political.

Both the protester in the street and the politician in the office will similarly retort and equally respond " My life matters!" when his/her preferred form of social/political violence inevitably visits upon their own head as well visits upon their business, home, friends and family. Unless to briefly point out the hypocrisy then move on, no one could logically, ethically fault them or anyone else for the retort and response.

It is not selfishness but self-preservation therefore the ineradicable human propensity and inexorable human right to consent or dissent on literally all matters. To disrespect then disregard the propensity and right for others while excusing oneself is monstrously inhumane.

---

Oh yore's smirk, lore's curt frown, per damn metaphors
Stoke the storms of reciprocal norms (all fuckin' hoars)
Latter rounds of violent words, while neon twilight lurks
As felines covert, and canines overt, work the un-alert

Mind’s knick-knacks scatter, as tits-for-tats on platter
Upon drunk mad-hatters’ pilfering, mid deafening clatter
Ah, love’s tattoo undone, feels good as killer’s revenge
Fitly stung, rung and hung by hangman’s lustful binge

Thrilled by the killing spree, skilled by the swilling free
Blood and buzz, just because, as reaper grimly emcees
Till all sprawl to prostrate, aft’ brawl and broken plates
Fear innate, tears translate, inner silence’s altered state

RESCISSION is the single course, the sole path...

Both US major parties intend more political action, more governmental involvement as solutions for an array of issues, only to further inevitable oppression and unavoidable ruination.

RESCISSION is the single course logical and ethical towards liberty, as well the sole path practical and sustainable towards prosperity.

Fascism longstanding in America...

One of many examples of actual Fascism longstanding in America...

US Senate committee hearing in progress involving CEOs of Facebook, Google and Twitter reinforces the bipartisan support for mutually beneficial cooperation and partnership between government and corporations. Far more disturbing than the hearing's purpose regarding censorship, each senator preceded questions with complimentary and grateful remarks for the CEOs and their corporations' willingness to cooperate (collude) and partner (conspire) whether for criminal and terrorist preventions/investigations as well general surveillance. The openness is as appalling as it is ignored.

The solution is NOT more government oversight, interference, regulation, etc, but RESCIND all contracts, partnerships along with all other biased polities and legalities so these companies have to compete politically unfavored.

Let us consider Fascism, that is, the "top-down regulatory" control of economy and society at large (oppose to Communism's "bottom-up confiscatory" control) via gov't contracts, gov't/corporate partnerships, business/profession licenses as well laws, regulations, taxes, fees, fines, gov't loans, grants, subsidies, artificial low interest rates, prohibitions, sanctions, bans, tariffs and more, backed by a police-statism, militarism (here and abroad) supplemented with extensive surveillance of near endless forms.

Unless perceptively blind, this should seem quite familiar.

Republican Party useless, Democrat Party reckless

Unless the now "very conservative" Supreme Court take to task the despotic governors and mayors who have unconstitutionally shutdown economies and levied unreasonable even inhumane mandates, Barrett's confirmation will be just another political appointment and nothing more.

Of course, where are all the possible cases submitted to the high courts, where have been the Republican politicians, meanwhile the Democrats have been bullhorn'ing their (accurately assessed) Fascist agendas with much riotous fanfare. My point. Republican Party (if not complicit) have proven to be as useless as the Democrat Party been reckless.

More on Human ABILITY to REASON, Human RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 195

195 - A Reprobate Mind / 5th Reprise

By any means necessary! Thus the 21st century war-cry in United States, whether by particular rhetoric (i.e. BAMN), or more often per noticeable behavior and action; it is the slippery slope foolishly ignored or influentially misunderstood as educationally predisposed. Of course, such rhetoric, behavior and action have not newly arrived upon this century and country, merely heightened perhaps unprecedented solely within the latest generation’s recollection.

Certainly the total wars of 20th century represent the unprincipled convenience and unshackled contrivance by employing all resources and measures necessarily expedient to wantonly exact unspeakable inhumanities, as best analyzed in Ludwig von Mises’ 1944 book Omnipotent Government: The Rise of the Total State and Total War. To augment the aforementioned overt examples, U.S. government’s covert activities on both foreign and domestic soil typify as well the same sort of resourcefulness towards conveniences, contrivances, expediencies, inhumanities, although within the shroud of secrecy even conspiracy (see Nos. 156-158, 178) journalistically and popularly unquestioned.

The critical point is this; no matter the form or intervention taken politically, legislatively, legally, militarily as well rhetorically, apolitically, illegally even criminally, “by any means necessary” is violence nonetheless, unethical as rightfully determined by violated persons’ mere dissent explicit if ahead expressed, dissent implicit if consent unexpressed. Also true, the same forms and interventions are paths of brief satisfaction then frustration, repeated over and over until total interventionism or totalitarianism. The reason is quite simple. Each frustration becomes more radicalized than the previous, intensifying towards yet another unprecedented extreme in both mission and method.

Somewhere along the path unethical therefore violent, emerges in plain sight some form of "by any means necessary" (i.e. BAMN). At first unapologetic although pride even self-righteousness soon appears and boasts, transitioning with ease to presumption and arrogance as covetousness entertained always so digresses. Present from the start of course, the unprincipled aggression merely convoluted by concocted philosophy, clouded by contrived terminology.

---

Covetousness entertained by obtuse minds propagandized
Presumption resurrects, soon arrogance erects well disguised
Intellectualized cleverly of course, politicized conveniently
Antrorsely towards Fraud and Force levied indiscriminately

Mourning the Rise and Fall of California...

If not now then when should mourning commence reflectively for the rise and fall of California per despotism's most self-righteous form as seen this past week (i.e. gubernatorial Thanksgiving mandate, see my previous post). Thus appropriately, the lyrics from the Gregorian chant Kyrie Cuntipotens Genitor of 900 AD...

Cunctipotens genitor Deus omnicreator eleison
Salvificet pietas tua nos bone rector eleison
...
Spirte alme eleison

All-powerful Father, God, Creator of all things, have mercy
May thy compassion save us, good ruler, have mercy
...
Most gracious Spirit, have mercy

Note:
For numerous years, I have found such music/chant logically contemplative, quiescently meditative, the Gregorian as much the various Eastern Orthodox and Armenian chants/hymns, Tibetan om and flute, American Indigenous flute, Arab oud, Spanish guitar and more.

Yes, I contend my particular faith and theology, however God through humanity provides near endless varieties in music and art to both stir then solace the mind as well the heart and soul. It is how we are wired if you will, are we not.

Governor Newsom of California is drunk with power...

Thank God I no longer live in my native home state California, however much prayers for family and friends who still do. How can people conduct their businesses, jobs, schools as well their private lives under such INHUMANE TYRANNY!

With that said, I do NOT trust Governor Reeves of Mississippi (my long adopted home state) for he too wields such corruptible power. Its time to say "NO!" then reduce government power by rescission, rescission and more rescission...

From the California Department of Health website, Governor Newsome's rules for Thanksgiving (as shared by friends)...

1. No more than 3 households, including your own.  If you have 3 married kids, only two of them are allowed to come.

2. Make a list of all attendees and their contact information in case the government wants it.

3. May not be indoors.

4. Your guests may go inside briefly to use the bathroom as long as you sanitize it frequently.

5. Any shade structure must be open on at least 3 sides.

6. Your chairs must be at least 6' apart.

7. You must provide a hand washing or sanitizing station for your guests.

8. You should only use single serving food. (No turkey or bowls of mash potatoes or cranberry salad.)

9. If you must serve out of one dish, your guests may not help themselves.

10. The designated person who is allowed to serve you must wash or sanitize their hands frequently and wear a face covering.

11. Everyone must wear a face covering at all times, except briefly while you eat (but you must sit 6' apart while you eat), or if you need to use an inhaler or for other urgent medical needs.

12. Keep the gathering to 2 hours or less.

13. You should not sing or chant.  Physical exertion is warned against.

This is NOT science, this is maniacal despotism!!!

PROEM & POEM No. 194 - A Reprobate Mind / 4th Reprise

The objective if achieved by such Fraud and Force (see Nos. 192-193), never quenches indefinitely the insatiable thirst, that is, the Covetousness ever-present ceaselessly varying in strength. Perhaps for time of course, the previously achieved objective may supply then satisfy, but soon overwhelmed once again when Covetousness entertained will sustain then strengthen.

The sole counter and correction for both the religious and nonreligious alike; to bolster one’s moral fortitude by the empirical, logical and ethical studying then understanding towards consistently regarding the Singular Human Right to Consent or Dissent on all matters, inseparably of course, constantly respecting the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason. By such understanding, Covetousness is not forever slain but starved.

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth... And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily... Watch ye, stand fast...be strong.

      II Timothy 2:15 / Colossians 3:23 / I Corinthians 16:13

To interpretatively, alternatively paraphrase the previously quoted verses, Study, Ponder, Labor, till last Breath, as stated appropriately, affirmatively throughout the book at end of each installment.

Importantly, this poet is not suggesting a substitute to historically contended theology regarding confession, redemption and perpetuation thereafter, rather the common grace and good elucidated upon rightly dividing therefore empirically, logically and ethically understanding. With that said, it is noteworthy to recognize the common struggle and strain to discern and determine it, even the common reluctance and resistance to accept and apply it.

To observably confirm and plainly compare the religious with the nonreligious, either body identically struggle and equally strain thus passively reluctant if not aggressively refusing to resist as much as the other, for both covet even lust their favored outcomes, mustering inglorious fabrication as illustrious justification for their preferential manifestation ergo intentional utilization of political Fraud along with legal Force.

---

Who can it be, now as well then, to the chagrin of them
Like ashen embers, hot if touched, although deftly hemmed
Ascetic outward, frenetic within, bathetic again to be clear
For cosmetic rage parenthetically staged, paretically feared

The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover a slightly modified yet appropriate version of the previous....

PROEM & POEM No. 193 - A Reprobate Mind / 3rd Reprise

Once the fraudulent and/or forceful choices are made (see No. 192), the dishonest and/or violent line crossed if you will, there sets in motion inevitable causes and effects, making difficult if not (nearly) impossible to reverse or return prior. Accordingly, one could say the line is a point of no return, or to alternatively say, a choice few choose to return, reverse, repeal, rescind, etc.

It is important to note. It is quite appropriate to metaphorically refer to a point of no return in reference to the human psychology or the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason, for seemingly so upon generally broad observation. Since the country’s founding to exemplify governmentally, United States have collectively elected then exacted many political forms of Fraud and Force both here and abroad, digressively more so with each passing presidential administration, congressional class and supreme justice. Since time immemorial to exemplify non-governmentally, humanity has individually chosen Fraud and Force therefore dishonesty violence, often remaining dishonest violent until the person’s passing.

With that said, as so long the specie human possesses the Peculiar Ability to Reason (see Nos. 8, 9, 22-24, 33, 34), that is to say, capable of choosing This over That one moment in space/time (x1,y1,z1,t1), then That over This the next or subsequent moment in space/time (x1,y1,z1,t2 or x2,y2,z2,t2), within the rational context of prioritized necessities and preferences, the Individual can return, reverse, repeal, rescind contrary to any previous decisions, thereby behave, onward proceed in contrast to any previous actions.

---

O perception’s ardor, eliciting the emotive fervor
Soliciting the inward motive salaciously further
Fallaciously nurturing the deceit, fostering the retreat
Till passion fondles reason, as coitus per gametes

Selah; between where he was, then where he will be
The spatial "here", where she sprawls so ardently
As passion suspends, time so hangs as perceived
Thus (x,y,z)’s coitus per inert (t) by (p) indeed

Covetously abhorred thus the prevailing resentment
Perpetually adored by the individualistic remnant
Chronologic understanding, horologic contemplatively
Else anagogic psychotically, kaleidoscopic heavenly

Study to shew thyself approved...

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth... And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily… Watch ye, stand fast...be strong."

II Timothy 2:15 / Colossians 3:23 / I Corinthians 16:13

Thus at end of this post the second line and mantra if you will, appended to the first. And so went this morning's writing session (draft/unedited) for my next book...

"The sole counter and corrective action for both the religious and nonreligious alike; to bolster one’s moral fortitude by the empirical, logical and ethical studying then understanding towards consistently regarding the Singular Human Right to Consent or Dissent on all matters, inseparably of course, constantly respecting the Peculiar Human Ability to Reason. By such understanding, Covetousness is not forever slain but starved (that is say, Covetousness ever-present, merely varying in strength at any given moment)...

This poet is not suggesting a substitute to historically contended theology regarding confession, redemption and perpetuation thereafter, rather the common grace and good upon 'rightly dividing' therefore empirically, logically and ethically understanding. With that said, it is noteworthy to recognize the common struggle and strain to discern and determine it, even the common reluctance and resistance to accept and apply it. It is also noteworthy to plainly compare the religious with the nonreligious, either seemingly struggle as well resist as much as the other, for both covet and lust their favored outcomes, mustering conjured justification for their preferred form and use of political fraud and force."

More on Human ABILITY to REASON, Human RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 192

192 - A Reprobate Mind / 2nd Reprise

And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

      Romans 1: 28-32

These Biblical verses possess a threaded theme difficult to ignore, summarized largely in two words; Fraud and Force. Consistently preceding Fraud legal or illegal therefore dishonesty comprehensively, the person disrespects others’ Peculiar Human Ability to Reason. Constantly preexisting Force legal or illegal therefore violence comprehensively, the person disregards others’ Singular Human Right to Consent or Dissent on all matters. In this way, any one or more of the enumerated ills often result per Apostle Paul’s writings previously quoted and interestingly, always the 10th Commandment inwardly broken thus unseen (see Nos. 147-155), then outwardly broken thus seen the 5th through 9th Commandments in forms of Fraud and/or Force against another.

So much for the harmless little white lie as those would justify conveniently, covetously although quite clumsily, anticipating their subsequent little white fraud and/or force inimically, injuriously although quite intentionally.

To reiterate clearly, Fraud and Force are both motivated by Covetousness thereby both coveting some mode and measure of covert manipulation and/or overt imposition upon others. The one(s) dishonest and/or violent of course worry not of others’ explicit dissent or implicit dissent by unexpressed consent. It is plain the reason for the use of the chicanery and coercion, to circumvent the perceptively bothersome yet ethically nonviolent negotiation towards consent mutual or unanimous. And so goes the common digression; the initial Covetousness, the subsequent Presumption then the Arrogance when electing Fraud and Force, therein reeling the state till sealing the fate of the mind reprobate.
---

Fraud while plotted, then ramrod’ed until masses applauded
Morally slipshod, scholarly awed though core quite rotted
Spotted well per logic behind the prisms thus isms anagogic
Yet aphorisms foster as schisms fester; ostracism demagogic

The commonly strategic retort of "you wouldn't understand"...

If to constructively suggest upon the commonly strategic retort of "you wouldn't understand", then the following proposition.

Is it actually one's incapability to understand, or perhaps is it due to the other's knowledge yet attained by arduous study and/or skill yet developed by laborious experience, and possibly compounded by the nonexistence of any supportive fact and logic of the implied however unexplainable opinion therefore counterargument unfounded, undefinable consequently undefendable to start.

The banal retort consistently occurs due to the latter, largely as well sophomorically unconsidered by the other.

Quotes by Hugo Grotius and Jordan Peterson

"A man cannot govern a nation if he cannot govern a city; he cannot govern a city if he cannot govern a family; he cannot govern a family unless he can govern himself; and he cannot govern himself unless his passions are subject to reason."

Hugo Grotius (lawyer/theologian/poet.1583-1645)

"If you want to organise your psyche, you could start by cleaning up your room... If you can't even clean up your own room, who the hell are you to give advice to the world?"

Jordan Peterson (psychologist/professor)

The land of the free and the home of the brave... Is it?

Nothing more symbolizes the lyrical mantra "the land of the free and the home of the brave" as an American mythical folklore than plastic partitions between debating vice-presidential candidates along with continuous widespread use of (unhealthy) masks, (anti) social distancing, (tyrannical) economic shutdowns as well (wantonly coveted) stimulus proposals upon stimulus plans.

If wisely bit above young-adult naivety in the late 1970s, I would have been able to identify, as I retrospectively do now, the well established dynamics and catalysts toward today's academic, social, economic and political lunacy, therefore the then moods and modes, trends and tendencies, (publicly funded) education and enlightenment consequently (publicly subsidized) intellectuals and idealists, laws and legalities, policies and programs thusly impositions and interventions, and much more.

To suggest current events as some recent phenomena hence to levy blame on younger generation(s), or as some dire outcome per one major party, is to continually rely on young-adult-like naivety. Grow up then wake up and smell the long brewed tyranny!

Why Today's Media Makes Us Despise One Another by Matt Taibbi

I thought the lecture provided a good historical account about market dynamic changes over the decades, and how those changes contributed to the biased news we now have. The presentation is slightly biased in reference to Trump (I speak as neither Democrat nor Republican), however moderately quite tolerably so, for I contend no one can be completely nonbiased.

What was implied or mentioned although not emphasized enough (in my humble opinion) was the role of consumer demand, for as much government and politicians mirror the people, so do news agencies and journalists. However positively, the rise in alternative online news sources and talk shows are too indicative of a growing consumer demand for something other than CNN, FoxNews, MSNBC, 3 major networks, NPR and so on.

Why Today's Media Makes Us Despise One Another by Matt Taibbi, hosted by Penn State McCourtney Institute for Democracy.

Presumption of Innocence is long lost...

Public schools conducting virtual classrooms have assumed their already excessive authority now reach into the privacy of homes hence bedrooms, suspending students for political posters on bedroom walls and as of this week, for a BB-gun safely mounted on a wall rack.

If this politically biased despotism is allowed to continue, emboldened teachers will not hesitate sending social workers to students' homes for further investigation of conjured suspicion.

It is for such scenarios I objected since the late 1980s to empowering social workers entering homes based on suspicion alone. Yes of course, there is the risk of actual domestic abuses occurring unchecked until gathered the evidence necessary for judicial purposes. But I contend now as I did then, far greater the risk and harm per this kind of undefined bureaucratic power. And NO, laws, programs and policies are NOT automatically justified if it will "save just one child" nor is it morally worth the lost of individual privacy, liberty and property.

Truly, PRESUMPTION of INNOCENCE is long lost if to consider the aforementioned public schools' overreach with MeToo's "Believe All Women" thus implied condemnation for all men without due process, as well lost of job, position, office or reputation by mere accusation of racism, sexism, hate'ism of various sorts and more.

By this thoughtless path we now tread, everyone therefore critics even proponents are at risk, and will be eventually ill affected.

Separation of Economy and State... Mike Wallace's 1959 interview of Ayn Rand

Ayn Rand's rightly proposed a separation of Economy and State, just as the somewhat longstanding separation of Church and State. I would propose a similarly hard separation between Science and State (per tyranny of recent months) which would be redundantly so as a mere subset of Economy...

"I'm opposed to all forms of control. I am for an absolute laissez-faire, free, unregulated economy. Let me put it briefly. I'm for the separation of state and economics. Just as we had separation of state and church, which led to peaceful co-existence among different religions, after a period of religious wars, so the same applies to economics. If you separate the government from economics, if you do not regulate production and trade, you will have peaceful cooperation, and harmony, and justice among men."

Ayn Rand (1905-1982)

As interviewed by Mike Wallace in 1959. One can easily conclude by this interview how particularly biased journalism were passed down from father to son Chris Wallace. 🙂

More on Human ABILITY to REASON, Human RIGHT to CONSENT - Proem & Poem No. 191

191 - A Reprobate Mind / 1st Reprise

When they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man…

      Romans 1:21-23

Modern universities have become institutions of fools and brutes, no longer respecting empirical evidence, methodical observance and heedful science upon ceaseless study, endless ponder and relentless labor, no longer regarding logic thus consistency per the universally evidential inherency of fact, ethic and truth, instead embracing arbitrariness thus inconsistency per the popularly vulgar conveniency of fantasy, sentiment and euphoria. Not as the specie consciously reasonable in the Maker’s image, after the Creator’s likeness, rather as species unconsciously instinctive liken beasts in fields, humanity descends to inhumanity, existing solely for the feast, fuck and fight, hence insisting covetously, persisting wantonly and subsisting presumptuously, arrogantly, violently.

It is true, the aforementioned foolishness and brutishness renders not the person permanently less individual, less capable to reason therefore as a matter of fact unconsciously instinctive. However, rendered is the person temporarily less individual, as so long he/she elects hence remains less willing to reason therefore as a matter of comparison unconsciously instinctive. The human ability to reason is constant, manifested not by wise versus unwise choices, but by choices alone.

Consequently, evicted and thrown from within the Soul’s four walls the preferentially productive placidity thus humanly reasonable totality per God’s impartations of His image and likeness, then rented and torn by the barbarously hell-bent brutality thus inhumanely instinctive totality per Man’s propensities toward error and excess. Nevertheless, God’s common grace timelessly withstands! For if so reasoned, the mind while quite aware of the totality thus brutality per Man's seemingly persisting wars upon apparently insisting violence outside the four walls of the Soul, inside the totality thus placidity per God's naturally unavoidable law then effectually sustainable peace.

---

O the four walls of Self so tall, internally versus externally
Various the influences, ergo inwardly versus outwardly
Precarious the continuances whilst some confluences nefarious
Yet long temerarious Individualism often rightly contrarious

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.
Study, Ponder, Labor, till last Breath.

Killed for an idea versus Kill for an idea...

Chasms apart are the two postures; the proclivity or willingness to be killed for an idea versus the presumption or covetousness to kill for an idea. Yet unfortunately more often than not, the two as one are ignorantly perceived, imperiously assumed then inhumanely manifested...

Though not novel in idea, something noted and sidelined while working on the latest book project this morning. More on that theme and thought later.

Come let us Reason (Is 1:18). Peace is always a Choice (Mt 5:9).
Study, Ponder, Labor, till last Breath (2 Tm 2:15 / Cl 3:23).

As Boeing moves 787 production from Washington state to South Carolina...

As Boeing moves 787 production from Washington state to South Carolina, it affirms yet again people as companies or individuals will vote by their feet against governments' excessive laws, regulations, policies, taxes as well against gubernatorial/mayoral tyrants.

What was the response by Governor Inslee of Washington? Not change in laws or policies, certainly no change in demeanor or posture, but unfounded self-pride and arrogant chastisement.

"Washington state remains the best place in the world to build airplanes. Boeing's success as a company is a credit to the workers and taxpayers of Washington state. Today's announcement is an insult to the hardworking aerospace employees who build 787s."

Mr Inslee, it is not an insult, rather the rightful exercise of freedom thus free enterprise.

I hope and pray Mississippi governor and government will watch and learn.

Creationist and Evolutionist can agree on one point.

The creationist and evolutionist will sharply differ over humanity's origin(s), but can rightly converge at the historical point when the specie first reasoned. From that point in space/time (x,y,z,t) of converging agreement forward, the argument for natural law prevails as observably, logically, equally potent regardless whether one holds God created versus Man evolved.

But arguably so only if understood the Singular Human propensity, prerogative, preference, purpose therefore Right to Consent or Dissent on ALL matters, as that natural law, and as the sole manifestation of the Human Ability to Reason.

The economist/philosopher Ludwig von Mises argued there are no evidence indicating as ever evolving the human ability to reason, rather the same ability exercised within an ever accumulative set of knowledge, or better categorized as experience. From the primitive constructing a stick hut to the modern constructing a space station, humanity have reasoned with the same ability, empowered by the ceaseless acquisition thus expansion of knowledge and/or experience.

Come let us Reason (Is 1:18). Peace is always a Choice (Mt 5:9).
Study, Ponder, Labor, till last Breath (2 Tm 2:15 / Cl 3:23).

Quote by D.C. Quillan Stone

Nothing as grotesque as the meeting of a child with a bullet...

"Congress is government, sir. I worked for the government once... Indians! Indians were the issue in those days. There is nothing as grotesque as the meeting of a child with a bullet or an entire village slaughtered while sleeping. That was the government's resolution of that particular issue. I've seen nothing since then to persuade me it's gained in wisdom, common sense or humanity."

Colonel William Ludlow

As played by actor Anthony Hopkins in the 1994 film Legends of the Fall.

There is of course nothing inaccurate about the character's description of the American political era then regarding the Indigenous, if also described of the American political era the last two decades regarding the Mideastern Indigenous if you will. Where equally grotesque per eras then and now are the meeting of a child with a bullet or drone.

Like Colonel Ludlow, I too have seen nothing to persuade me the US government gained in wisdom, common sense or humanity during the Bush, Obama and now Trump administrations on this inhumanely neglected issue.

What is the resolution for such grotesqueness capable only by an overly enlarged thus grossly empowered government.; RESCISSION of laws, taxes, programs, policies, sanctions, prohibitions, goddamn wars and more!

Social/economic normalcy never returning says CNN and others...

CNN and others are now declaring social/economic normalcy as never returning (if they have their way), even suggesting those who disagree having a psychological condition or disorder called "normalcy bias". An obvious ploy to instill fear of being so clinically labeled however ridiculously unfounded.

These are further attempts towards indefinite as well incremental behavior manipulation by compulsion and fear. In this way, CNN and others ignore their own classic textbook "control freak" symptoms of one or more personality disorders; antisocial, histrionic, narcissistic, obsessive, etc.

These disorders are observably combined with measures of psychosis along with psychoticism per an ever-widening chasm between logical reality and political fantasy upon an ever-deepening abysm between ethical comprehension and covetous predisposition, as well an ever-increasing juvenile impulsivity upon ever-escalating adolescent hostility in response to any or all rightful mature dissension. Like children, they want their way and will pursue it by any means necessary.

Those politically opposite (as they gloat over such criticism) have been as complicit either by covert passivity or patronization if not overt pander or participation.
