12th Book on Ability to Reason, Right to Consent; Proposition, Problem & Poem No. 261

Most likely to be published later this summer of 2022, my 12th book entitled appropriately; Propositions, Problems & Poems on the Peculiar Human ABILITY to REASON, Singular Human RIGHT to CONSENT & Other Neglected Matters. The following will probably be included upon further editing, and front cover a slightly modified yet appropriate version of the 10th and 11th books...

PROPOSITION, PROBLEM & POEM No. 261

~ The Mind: Seat of Law or Subject of Law / 2nd Reprise ~

Every individual has only a limited quantity of energy to expend, and every unit of labor can only bring about a limited effect. Otherwise human labor would be available in abundance; it would not be scarce and it would not be considered as a means for the removal of uneasiness and economized as such.

Ludwig von Mises (1881-1973)

Hence scarcity prevailing throughout nature, encompassing human existence from womb to tomb, is the paramount dynamic making most clear the operations or laws seated in the mind as well subjecting the mind. It is the functionalities or laws seated in the mind to allow the discovering and understanding of those causalities or laws subjecting the mind as well the body (again, human existence). Consequently proceeding to wisely work within nature towards likely benefit, else foolishly work against nature towards likely detriment.

     Shall through thy inmost caverns pour the day;
     Oh, Memory! If to me thy lessons stern
     Sometimes appear, let me not less discern
     The deep and wholesome wisdom they convey;

And so considering the octave’s 2nd quatrain of  his 6th sonnet, it is not surprising George Boole ((1815-1864)) concluded humbly although wisely on the matter, that is to say, these and other questions I propose, however imperfectly (see Proposition, Problem & Poem No. 259). Thus if not intervened, imposed, intruded then shall humanity study, ponder, labor till last breath.

---

O the human frailty yet virility per reason’s faculty then utility
From twigs, sticks, rocks and logs, to rigs and bricks’ superiority
Yet the temporality, perpetually, accordingly “this o’er that”
“That o’er this” post hoc, so pompously mocked by the kratocrat

Ah the autocrat along with the democrat, their might as their right
Whether minority over majority or majority over minority, the fight
`Tween consenters then dissenters, presumption versus preference
Polity against citizenry, and so goes the governance as arrogance

---

Come let us Reason. Peace is always a Choice.
Study, Ponder, Labor, till last Breath.
